I am bumping this. I have been using my cassie for about 6 months. I went to buy one on poshmark and noticed the hardware rubbed off on the bags. I am careful. I called my coach store and i am taking my bag in for a hardware replacement for the front Turnlock and it will cost $75 dollars. They said this is just one of those things with the cassie that just turning it will eventually rub it off. To me it is my bag snagged it for 175 maybe less on sale at coach so i am willing to pay for a repair. Beware of buying anything on the Poshmark or Mercari sitesI am guessing there is something wrong with your bag? I haven't had this issue, and I have 4 Cassie bags. Can you still return it as a damaged item?
Just a heads up. I would use as gentle of a cleaner for Chalk. I would be Leary of the the coach cleaner or dilute it a bit. I have seen some postings on poshmark that tried to get something out and that chalk was ruined by what they did it looked gray in the area you can tell where they did something and to me trashed the bag. It was the chalk back on the colorblock beechwood and chalk with the snakeskin handle. Even the sales associate said i would not use it :o)Thank you! I will. Please do provide an update with what she used. I will plan to get whatever it is!
I think a lot of people are doing this on Poshmark. 495 for a cassie bag 395 for a 19. Really. These bags are not wear half of them are showing wear on the hardware which is a 75 coach repair it is NUTS. I bought all my Cassies at 50% off and some at 50% plus an extra 20% so i know people are just trying to make a buck. I okay but honestly the bags that they are posting i have in a box for St. Vincent de Paul. They can go to the thrift store and buy my bags there. I don’t want to make a profit because i don’t want to pay taxes and i refuse to sell to resellers that will resell them to some poor soul. I have sold a couple pristine new bags but i look at the buyer. If they look like a seller i won’t sell. I am really happy when my bags find a good home.nice idea ! I can just list and watch what happens.
I decided to not list it. I find myself reaching for it once again.Let us know where you are listing them
Morning! I have several Cassies (not 19s). They are all the same size. I carry the same items (wallet, cosmetic pouch, etc.) & have never noticed any size difference. I would ask the seller to confirm measurements.Hi all! Asking here as hopefully someone will know - I’m in the market for a Cassie (classic ‘me’ - always late to the party once a bag has been discontinued ♀) and have been looking at various preloved listings but the measurements are confusing me. Was there ever a slight size change with the original Cassie (not the 19)? I’m talking like 1.5cm variation? As some bags seem to be 25.5cm width and some others only 24cm. Did they change maybe over time or am I just seeing some counterfeit ones? Tia x
Lovely thank you, I suspected as much. The dimensions on one bag I was looking at just seemed off, I got her to reconfirm them too, 24cm. Assuming online measurements are correct, I think the Cassie is supposed to be 25.5cm (10inches)?Morning! I have several Cassies (not 19s). They are all the same size. Could be she doesn’t know how to measure accurately? See if she will send you close up pics of the interior and exterior to confirm authenticity.Lovely thank you, I suspected as much. Any reputable seller should be willing to show pictures with a tape measure if sizing is in question.Could be she doesn’t know how to measure accurately? See if she will send you close up pics of the interior and exterior to confirm authenticity.
I agree, if the seller is confused on how a tape measure works, just post a pic lol.Any reputable seller should be willing to show pictures with a tape measure if sizing is in question.

Here’s the photos she sent, I wondered if she was just being accidentally vague but look at the placement of the tape start, seems off if this bag should be 25.5cm, it’s nowhere near that. I’m not going to pursue anyway, it was more me just wondering about size in general but yeah this seems iffy then doesn’t it?Any reputable seller should be willing to show pictures with a tape measure if sizing is in question.
