I’m getting ahead of myself since I just placed my order today but is it possible to bring in an outlet purchase ($105 Cassie) into a Coach boutique/retail store and ask for it to be monogrammed? Or is that a big nono? I’ve only ever had boutique purchases monogrammed..

JMO, but the retail store wouldn't know if you got your cassie from an outlet or not. You should have no issues getting it monogrammed. I've taken pieces that were department store exclusives, not sold at Coach, to not only be monogrammed but personalized.

Agree with this. I sent a midnight navy Cassie to a coach store a long while back that I had bought from FOS, and it was personalized with no issue.

That's usually how their packages arrive. I did get one in a box--from store. I also got a clearance item that had the minimum of wrapping. So glad yours arrived in one piece. Mine is supposedly out for delivery. We shall see.

Received my $105 black Cassie today. Perfectly packed. Very nice.

I got my black Cassie! Yay! It was perfect.

The packaging was very questionable. It came to me almost falling apart in brown packaging, like it went through a rainstorm. I was pretty concerned what condition the Cassie would be in.

Mine arrived a half hour ago. After 2.5 weeks in perfect, factory packaging.

I had purchased a Marlie. It is a very classy little bag. A cousin to Cassie. It was snapped up already! My roommate grabbed it up. She's 4'9 and that bag is a nice compromise. The Cassie seemed too big for her. Apart from differences in hardware and the stamp of Coach New York, there is virtually no difference between the retail Cassie and the outlet Marley (in terms of quality or appearance.) The Cassie is a lot heavier--more leather and more substantial hardware.
The Cassie resembles the Court bag. I think people go on and on about it being a PM dupe, (and I really think that's a YouTube thing meant to add to the subscribers base and generate views. Lots of designers take their inspiration from others. It was the genius of Bonnie Cashin that gave birth to the classic turnlock design adored by many.) There is always one thing I loved about Coach. Many of their designs have pockets in the appropriate places. And a Cassie has plenty of pockets: a perfect home for keys, phone, hand sanitizer. One more thing we have in the Cassie that we didn't have in the Court: the durability of pebbled leather. The Court bag is beautiful a in glove tanned leather, but it's a magnet for scratches.

I’m so confused at how they keep throwing this link up and then it selling out. The first one I ordered shipped in two days. The one I ordered as a gift over a week ago still hasn’t shipped. Go figure.

It took me 2.5 weeks. Ordered 12/4. That package went out via USPS. Things ordered prior to that and after that, whether from Coach or the outlet, shipped promptly and were received within three to five days. Those went out via UPS.
It's a very strange thing and I have various theories. If you think about it, They can't have that link up for very long it would be cannibalizing their sales on the website and through other retailers. I wouldn't question I would just grab it and say thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa.
