The Worst Hermes Color EVER!?

I'm sorry if I offended anyone! You're right- it really is all subjective and I'm glad we can all share our thoughts in good spirit.
I love neutrals on big birkins (by that I mean 35s). I have etoupe (with RS lining), black, gold and ebene (croc), potiron. I also have a rouge vif (chevre), which I also consider a "neutral" even though it's definitely a color. LOL. I can take "color" in smaller bags and have fuchsia (croc), orange and vert anis (with bleu de pruess (?) lining). I do have a chocolate Jige that I don't love.
I somehow missed your post @smurfet, so it feels like I am a day late and dollar short with this reply. But I hope you did not think I took offense to your post because I did not. I love topics like this. They give me a fresh perspective and sometimes--God help my AMEX card-- a new interest in things I'd once dismissed. Also, I LOVE fuchsia, rouge vif, potiron (I wish H would reissue this color!) and all the neutrals you listed, too. I have H items in every one of those colors!

One would think this would be one topic that would not offend. If I love color X and everyone hates it, great - easier for me to find! It is also funny to read semi-contentious threads once one's ignore list gets really long ;) - like having selective hearing!
There are few H colors I actively despise but I can live without Alezan, Curry, Toundra, Crevette, Glycine, and yep, Rose Sakura. Bleu Jean is a color that always looks nice in photos, but when I see it IRL I dislike it.

Ok I’m not the only one who feel that way about Rose Sakura! But I think it’s great because many love it so 1) I don’t have to compete for it if I had liked this popular color and 2) the goodies will find homes with those who enjoy it

But mainly I wanted to thank you for letting me know that there is an ignore feature on this forum - I think I may make use of it ;)

Not me as I don't care but I can see problems if the opinions are expressed in a offensive way. Sometimes it's not the opinion itself but how it is said.

I totally agree - although I haven’t done flipping this thread - but I know for me personally how something is said is almost as important as to what is being said in terms of eliciting an emotional reaction.

It’s really not terribly hard to understand that more than taking offense, people are hurt. There’s no polite way to tell someone that you think something they own is ugly—and we all know this. What some of the posters are saying is that no matter how one phrases it, it doesn’t seem in the spirit of fun and friendship.

Haircuts are subjective too but who is secure or objective enough to walk down the street and hear comments from random strangers about how ghastly your hair, makeup and clothes are? This is exactly the same thing except it’s, “Oh, and by the way, that Birkin that you adore and traveled halfway around the world and waited in line for umpteen hours, and saved for two years to buy— yeah that one—that’s the ugliest thing we’ve ever seen.” We don’t all have to agree on everything, but the biggest problem with threads like this that outright solicit negativity is that no good comes of them.
