Not a fan of yellow and apple green . But I am sure someone else will look great carrying it!

I'm sorry if I offended anyone! You're right- it really is all subjective and I'm glad we can all share our thoughts in good spirit.
I love neutrals on big birkins (by that I mean 35s). I have etoupe (with RS lining), black, gold and ebene (croc), potiron. I also have a rouge vif (chevre), which I also consider a "neutral" even though it's definitely a color. LOL. I can take "color" in smaller bags and have fuchsia (croc), orange and vert anis (with bleu de pruess (?) lining). I do have a chocolate Jige that I don't love.
Not a particular color, but I dislike greens and oranges in general. The only green color I like is Malachite. I'd personally never carry an orange or yellow bag, wouldn't be able to pull it off.
There are several "popular" colors that just don't do it for me: Raisin, Chocolate, Rose Sakura, Blue Jean, Craie, etc.

I think IF is referring to a metallic Birkin sold at Christie's auction a few years back, it was sold for a ridiculous amount of money like £100k hammer price or something like that.
I guess beauty is in the eyes of beholders. One's trash is someone else's treasure.
