I’ve taken mine to Italy and Canada. I’ve taken it to all state side travel including Hawaii, California, New York and Florida. It really is so so easy to pack and put in your carry on. And it is so easy to down play and not at all bring attention to. I really questioned bringing it to NYC. But in the cold under my jacket was perfect

Curious, how many WOCs do you all think is too many WOCs? I just got my third. It became my favorite bag from Chanel and I’ve had the small and medium CFs and a rectangular mini. The WOC is just so easy for my life. I want to get another in black but is 4 over board?? FWIW they are all in varying colors, and there is variation in leather (not all caviar for example).

Agreed - I think if you found a style that you love and works for you, then you should get whatever number/variety of colors and textures makes sense in your wardrobe and life! That's awesome that you found something perfect that you also love!

I’m really struggling and could use some help trying to decide between caviar woc in ghw or shw. I went home with the gold because I wear gold jewelry with the exception of a few times a year I’ll wear a chunky silver earring to complete an outfit. When trying on the silver in store though I kind of fell in love with how it looked. I still left with the gold bc playing it safe. I plan on wearing it as an everyday purse and I dress mostly casual and a lot of time in all black athleisure. I would like the option to use it when needed for a fancier dinner or event but that’s not the priority for why I got the purse. Any opinions would be so appreciated because I’m so stuck and I don’t want to have any regrets 😅

I chose SHW because I love silver. I do think the gold is very pretty but not for me. I say go with your heart and what brings you joy.

Have you thought about their Champagne gold? It's not as GOLD as the gold hardware, but might be a nice in between for you.

Alas I don't have a picture handy. Years ago it was fairly easy to find in the Chanel stores where I live. You can at least ask your SA.

Or this is an option that I also chose too - the all black! That way I have it covered. But to me, the all black version looks a little more casual than the shinier metals.

Also try on other bags, even in the store try on a larger size flap style in gold and then in silver, see which metal "stands out" the most to you, standing out could be a positive or a negative. You be the judge.

Whichever one makes your heart sing, go for that one. You can always look for another leather in a different metal hardware later on (despite the looks from your fiancé!) That way you can feel you had a distinct reason to get another, even in the same colour leather! (I think we all understand this version of math.)

Thank you! I really appreciate the advice. I really enjoy getting people’s feedback so I can look at things in a different perspective.

I’m still so stuck. I’m leaning more towards silver because it felt casual but also elegant and pretty. Gold to me sometimes doesn’t look as casual. I love gold jewelry more than anything but something about the gold hardware on the woc isn't translating the same.

Does anyone feel silver looks a little “young” ? for lack of better words
