Hi everyone! Forgive me if this has been asked before. But I have a classic caviar woc, and the chain shortener that Chanel gave me. Is it ok to keep it stored with the chain shortener applied, or will it somehow ruin or damage the strap/bag? I find that I’m kind of lazy and don’t like having to take it on and off every time I use the bag
My SA gave me the chain shortener as well but advised me not to use it much and to not keep it attached to the bag, FWIW. It can leave dents.

I wear it when I don't need to carry much. I don't carry a wallet and instead utilize the card slots and interior zip pocket for cards, etc. And because I am one of those people who don't like to carry my phone in my hand, I put my phone in the rear compartment, which then frees up the front, deeper flap compartment for other things, like hand sanitizer, etc. HTH
I’ve left mine on for years and have not had any issues. I have a caviar woc and a grained lambskin one and they’re both as good as new. Removing the base shaper or strap shortened every time I stored it would make using the bag high maintenance for me and I like to enjoy my bags without worry!
I would repurchase it in Europe (I reside in the US). I would not purchase it in the states. I only use mine occasionally but they are lovely and practical pieces for my lifestyle.
The chain shortening clip left a small dent on the inside of my caviar WOC. Maybe I didn’t hook it on the right way. I had the strap shortened permanently by Leather Surgeons and it was the best decision for that bag. I’ve carried it so much more since then!
Hello everyone! I am looking for advise on how to clean the interior of my light colored woc. There is a stain on the zipper tape and dirt on the cardholders.☹️ Any help or advise is much appreciated.🙏🩷
I’m 4’11 and wear it cross body. It is longer than I would want but it works for me. If you follow the forum with celebrities wearing Chanel you will see a lot of petite ladies wearing WOC’s crossbody. If they can do it and look great so can I.

Does anyone know whether the price of the reissue WOC is the same as of the classic WOC (or is reissue more expensive)?

I‘d love to hear your experiences with WoC. I‘ve been looking at various pre-loved versions. Lambskin, Patent, Smooth Calfskin and of course caviar. As you may Imagine, the secondary market for caviar is quite scarce and the prices high. So I wanted to weigh in my options with leathers.
What is practical (I do baby my bags, I already have quite a few Chanel but no WoC), what do you wear the most and why?
About me: I love WoCs, have a Dior, YSL, Gucci and a CTG from H. So I know I would use it. Would love black, dark grey or red.
