I hope I'm making this post in the right thread! I'm going to be buying my first WOC sometime this week and I had some questions. It's my first purchase from a Chanel boutique and I don't really know what to expect. I'm in Australia and only have a few lux purchases so far.
Is everything on the Chanel website reflective of what's in store (obviously excluding what might have sold out in-store, but what I mean is, is there a larger range in store than what you see on the website?) I also want to pay cash but I'm not sure if they'll look at me funny if I do that?!
I ideally want a black caviar WOC with ghw but I'll take what I can get on the day, I want to get in before the price increase!
Thanks in advance for your help and please excuse my plain ignorance

The Chanel website listings often have nothing to do what's in boutique. There are many other styles and colors that are never listed there. That being said, what is in stock varies greatly, and classic styles tend to be the most sought after.

I don't see a problem paying in cash. I've never done it myself, but I've seen others do so before.

Good luck in finding your perfect WOC!

I've paid cash before. They take it in stride. :)

I'm undecided between getting a new classic woc or a boy woc preloved (the old version with the 2/3 flap). Both in black caviar with GHW. I would like to use it every day, travel and for dressy evening events.

The classic is sleek and beautiful, but I can't help but feel that it's a bit too similar to my black medium CF and that it's slightly plain compared to it. But I think it'd be great for evenings as well as everyday wear. Another plus is that it has a back pocket!

I've always been fond of this version of the boy because it's slightly edgy, yet still has the classic feminine strap. However, I'm not sure would be ideal for evenings, especially in caviar. And I also have slight doubts about its longevity, since the style is not as classic.

Would love to hear any input regarding either one or both.

I will go for the classic

I had the same dilemma a few days ago when I bought my woc! The boy is gorgeous & edgy, I don't think it will go out of style anytime soon, but the classic WOC is just that - classic. You can't beat it! The boy doesn't have a back pocket & is probably not as versatile, imo. If you're only getting one, I'd suggest the classic.
Now that I've bought my classic woc, I want to get the boy so I can mix it up.

Great points! I'm only thinking of getting one now, but definitely wouldn't be surprised if I decided to get another haha. Even so, I'm leaning towards getting the classic first due to its versatility, even though the boy is a bit more eyecatching. It'll just likely be a bit of a wait to get the combo I want

Hi, there

Just join this WOC club with my new caviar WOC with SHW.
This caviar leather is so stiff (not soft at all) and it is made in France ( quilting is not super puffy but is not that flat like other made in France WOC many years ago). At first I wasn't sure about leather but I like sturdy leather feeling so I just go for it.
