I just bought a base shaper for my WOC and I love how much extra room it gives me!! Just wondering if you ladies keep the base shaper in when you're not using the bag?
I don't. I store it without the base shaper.I just bought a base shaper for my WOC and I love how much extra room it gives me!! Just wondering if you ladies keep the base shaper in when you're not using the bag?
I'm by no means an expert but it looks sus to me. Can you get it authenticated?Does anyone know the name of this wallet on chain or can tell if it’s authentic?
gorgeous! Congratulations!!I just purchased this yesterday & am debating to keep or continue the search for the classic WOC in black with GHW. Need some feedback please![]()
I don’t have a woc yet, so just started reading this thread & I’m very interested in the boy woc…. But are you sure that you want to alter the straps yourself? If the boy woc doesn’t have leather… maybe take it to a local jeweler & tell them to do it? Jewelers have better specialized tools. (I have a Gucci woc that I’m thinking about altering). Otherwise, you could just crisscross the chains under the flap without tying. (I do that & it’s pretty sturdy). Or… a lot of people recommended leather surgeons for altering straps on other Chanel flaps. Whatever you decide, Good luck! Your woc is gorgeous.Hi everyone! I just received my boy woc yesterday and totally love the look. However I found the strap is suuuper long on me even crossbody. So far I've solved this by tying the chain together underneath the flap. This is an ok solution but it makes closing the flap a little finicky since the chain is a little more bulky. I was wondering if anyone has actually removed links off the chain? I know I know, this sounds crazy, but the idea keeps floating in my mind (I would do this by taking pliers to twist open a link, remove 3-4 inches, then twist the link back close - done at the bottom where the chain goes through the leather of course). I'm just wondering if the links are very hard to twist open and if it can be done without gouging the metal (I would use a rag around the chain so the pliers don't touch the chain directly)

I tried crisscrossing but it makes it too short for crossbody. This is what I have done right now:I don’t have a woc yet, so just started reading this thread & I’m very interested in the boy woc…. It works pretty well but I don't like the extra bulk under the flap lol. Maybe I'm just being too picky though. I'm going to try wearing it like this for awhile and then see if I want to permanently shorten the chain. You're right and it may be better to take it to jeweler or cobbler though... just the diyer in me always thinks "I can just do this myself" haha.
I have the snap button closure woc and am currently trying to get my hands on a magnetic closure one. I prefer the magnetic closure (I used to have a square woc with magnetic closure), but I will never sell the snap button one, because I love its color (iridescent beige from 19s). If your looking for black, I’d get the magnetic closure, but wouldn’t hesitate if it’s a special color with the snap button.Everyone with the old button closure, do you like it? is it a pain to close? I am looking at a used one from 2019 with the button closure and wondering if I should just get the new closure. Thank you so much!
Do these leave any indentations on the leather (esp bc wocs are smaller/tighter)? Currently debating getting these vs continue using the ribbon method on my CF. TIA!Try the chain adjusters. It looks like this
I actually have something similar but I find it kind of bulky (at least the one I have), especially since the boy chain is already kind of bulky itself. Using a ribbon also allows me to control how much I want to shorten it, though I suppose you could buy several chain adjusters to do the same thing.Try the chain adjusters. It looks like this
I have a black caviar WOC with SHW. It has the button closure. To ME, esp based on the price increase, buying another WOC at a higher price just to change the closure would be ludicrous. The button is absolutely fine. If this is your everyday bag and the button drives you crazy, then yes, maybe it's worth it to you. It's just not to me.Everyone with the old button closure, do you like it? is it a pain to close?
