I have 2 Chanel WoCs, one has old snap and one is magnetic snap, the magnetic is no easier honestly, at least to me. I still have to look at it and line it up

I just bought a base shaper for my WOC and I love how much extra room it gives me!! Just wondering if you ladies keep the base shaper in when you're not using the bag?
Do these leave any indentations on the leather (esp bc wocs are smaller/tighter)? Currently debating getting these vs continue using the ribbon method on my CF. TIA!
Me! I recently bought a black woc with magnetic closure to replace an older dark colour with button closure. The caviar is so inferior. Both this 2021 woc and the 2020 one I bought last year are so much thinner than the 2017 woc I used to haveHi all
Just wanted to ask whether anyone has a black caviar woc that feels very “thin” and soft? It feels very different to my friend’s woc (also purchased recently) which feels sturdier. I’m actually worried the caviar is so thin that opening the magnetic closure would rip the leather.
Thanks in advance!

Do the quilts feel like there’s a layer of air in between? I’ve actually touched another black caviar woc this month that feels very very different ie it was super plastic-y but felt very durable. Both the one I didn’t end up owing and the one I did get were made in France with the micro chip. I hope this softer caviar holds up well…Me! Me! The caviar WOC I got recently is definitely very different, but mine seems to have bigger grains than your new one. It is MIF and the leather is soooooooooo thin, that I am a bit concerned. Otherwise mine is soft and feels very lux - it feels extremely different to the caviar on my CF and Boy, which feel more durable.Hi everyone, after many years of continuously bumping a WOC purchase down my wish list, last year, I finally bought a black caviar WOC with SHW. She is a stiffer caviar (Series 28) and MIF. We love each other. I could not get the GHW out of my head and yesterday picked one up. She is a deeper black and has a slight shine. I do not know what series she is due to the chip ID. The caviar is softer and the bag is MII. My question is, do any of you own two caviar WOC with a notable difference in the feel of the leather, and does the difference in leather bother you?

Hi everyone! I'm a total newbie looking to get my very first Chanel ever, a black Classic WOC (caviar, ghw). Please forgive me if this sounds stupid but I'm totally new to this world... is this bag impossible to get or something? I've been seeing blogs post a brand new one for about $2,500 USD (prices will go up in 2021) but then there will be pre-owned ones that are being sold for at least $3,000 USD. How does this work? Is it better to buy at a duty free shop or an SA or pre-owned? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm also quite a Chanel newbie (just got my first ever Chanel piece a few months ago - a boy WOC in silver hardware)
There's been a lot of price increases this year so the WOC is about $3000 retail now. Depending on the colors/material, it can be hard to acquire (black classic, caviar is a very popular combo). It's not impossible though - you just have to be patient. A sales associate will put you on the waitlist and will let you know if they have it. I personally suggest going to a Chanel inside a department store rather than a standalone store since they seem to be more open to complete newbies compared to standalone boutiques (at least my experience)
Not at all an expert but sure go ahead!Oh really???? I thought Chanel raises their prices annually.... would it be ok if I DM-ed you?
