Beyond tragic. lifetime is getting its money worth, it is playing nonstop on a loop. Pure exploitation.
All those hanger ons, the production company and Will aka as brand new Kelvin, disgusting.
With that diagnostic, if accurate, the best outcome would be Wendy moving with her family in Miami, her sister Wanda being in charge of medical decision and perhaps having Wendy doing volunteer work mentoring youth or having a light easy job back on radio.
Her son made some poor financial decisions that lead to this mess, imo. But he was young and did what young spoiled kid do.
I wish her the best. She had a rough few years but it can only get better from now on.IMG_0275.gif

There was soooo many gaps in this documentary. Why didn't any of her family come back to NYC when the show and the courts made her leave Miami? To me the sister and the niece could have taken turns flying back to NYC to check up on her. My hunch is the son triggered a financial mess which leads me to believe the show contacted the courts which led to the guardianship. This documentary definitely shows the court approved guardianship is not working and this is up for review this year. Hopefully Wendy Williams get a happy ending.

i think it is vastly different in bruce's case - "he" doesn't need to say anything. his family is not trying to push his story for whatever they think they will be getting out of it. they have always been united about doing what is best for him!

right - but do you think it's wendy speaking for herself or someone else speaking for her? (and saying it's her)

well all that could be put to rest by the monthly statements. where were the charges being made? what was being purchased? i think that could be easily solved. and if he has always been using it since 6th grade and she knew that then maybe someone else is trying to keep him out and having a bigger share for themselves - did they remove him from being an authorized user?

From the parts I have seen, she was being taking advantage of and is unable to make sound decision.
I saw the part when the PR/assistant dragged her to LA and arranged meetings with NBC executives. It was wild. Is that woman on drugs?
I don’t know what was worst, her letting Wendy have a martini lunch, letting her fly there or even thinking that Wendy was stable enough to get a meeting.
Yes, creatives are a different bunch but Wendy seems to be coherent about 50% of the time.
On a shallow note, bad enough that she wear those stupid booty shorts at all times, those silly fur boots, her devotion to that 2000’s pink mat MAC lipstick got to end.

i think "they" let her go out dressed like that because it makes her look even worse and helps themwith their claims of needing to be in control. it's all for show. and going to a meeting serves the same purpose - the more people who see her at her worst will only help them to take over.
