Hi. I am looking at getting a Sarah or Zippy wallet in the vernis range. I'm not careful with my bags but do not abuse them. Would throw the wallet in my bag with all the other bag items. Can those who have products in the vernis range tell me if they scratch and stain easily. The SA was inclined to,talk me out of getting a vernis wallet. Thanks.

I'm planning to get a wallet for my birthday but am debating over which style. I have 2 LV bags - one in empriente aurore and the other in damier ebene. The 2 wallets I'm considering are the empriente zippy wallet in aurore and the zippy vernis in rouge faviste. I want the wallet to go with both bags but also other bags I have in other designers. Any suggestion or opinions??

Fgl11 They are both pretty, but I would go with the empreinte! The leather is so luxurious and is much easier to care for. Good luck deciding!

Another vote for Empreinte - it's much more durable and not so prone to the color transfer from receipts, etc. Having a vernis wallet means being a lot more careful as it easily gets pen marks, color transfer and you will be bummed if that happens!

I just saw the empreinte in Aurore yesterday and it is gorgeous! I love Vernis, but empreinte is more durable.

I have the french wallet in pomme de amor and I love it. I have not noticed any scatches and I had it for about a year. I don't have the favorite pm but it does fit in my pouchette accessories nm. I think with this wallet, you just have to keep in mind that although it is compact it can get a little bulky.
