Good News for upkeep! Since I'm too impatient and curious to see how damage can be handled, i did two experiments on the inside of the handles keeper.

1) water

Took a drop of water, left it on over night.
Result: The water was fully absorbed, but NO stain left.

I then took another drop, rubbed it in so it absorbed. Left stain. Dried it with a hair dryer. Stain gone.

2) abrasion

Scratched the inside of the handles keeper with my fingernail as HARD as i could. Left huge scratch. Rubbed it w/finger - SMALL scratch remained. Took a small dab of balm from The nomade leather care kit, polished, scratch disappeared but the leather was a bit shiny. Bent it a little back and forth to get the grain back - voila! Perfect! Scratch totally gone.

I guess the nomade kit does wonders also for haute maroq!

It says in the booklet that it is for nomade leathers only, but my scratch strongly disagreed...
Smells like honey, so there is probably some beeswax in it.

Ingrediens:
Waxes 9,3 %
Water: 84,72 %
Additives: 3,13 %
Thickener: 2,85 %

Price: 81 euros

Didn't know Lv sells leather moisturizer...

Actually, it didnt seem THEY did either til they checked the computer! I also bought a spray waterproofer (for shoes) when picking up a pair of loafers last week, so there ARE products for maintenance availiable!
