Sorry you're going through that
Unfortunately, that is how VC works. They rarely offer returns unless the item is drastically different from how its described. They only give you the option of relisting w/o fees but you have to use the original listing, original pics and ask the same price. You might have better luck taking your own photos, writing your own listing and determining your own price

I'm curious about TRR jacket. These jackets aren't sized S, M, L, XL -- they're numbered sizes. What was the size on the tag inside the jacket?
Thank you so much for your reply, @iluvmybags! 🌹

For the TRR jacket, it said XL, US12, FR44, which would be definitely my size (although US 12 is an L). I was surprised how tight it was in the shoulders, meaning that their jackets run small. It was too tight for my teenage daughter who is usually a M (sometimes even a S).

I wonder why VC sends the items with a don’t-remove tag if they won’t accept it back anyway. Misleading, IMO. I was also thinking of listing it on my own but then I’d have to pay them their fees. Indeed, listing it their way, I am losing the tax I paid on the purchase. Would I have more luck listing it on another similar platform? I am still debating it with myself if I should do this or not. And listing it with the right measurements.

Is there a different in sizes between 2012 and 2016 biker jackets? I seem to remember the version after 2014 is slightly larger.
Hmm, I honestly wouldn't know for sure. I do think when the style changed (around 2014 I think), the sizing changed too but I can't be certain. I lost interest in the new style. 2012 would have been the older style (epaulettes/no waist belt) and 2016 would be the Alexander McQ style (with the new waist belt) so I'd think that yes there would be

Yes I think you are right. I am actually interested in both but can probably afford one now. There is a tan one in McQ style and a black one in the old style on the resellers’ website. I am trying to decide which one to get first.

Quick question, has anyone ever removed the shoulder pads from their moto jacket? I have clothes hanger type shoulders and I feel like the extra padding makes me look like a linebacker!
I don’t even know if that’s possible. I don’t think its the shoulder pads that bulk up the shoulders. I think its the epaulettes. Now those you could probably easily remove & see if it makes a difference

I do recall a few girls have removed the shoulder pads & been thrilled with the result......there were actually before & after pics posted, though I'm not sure if they are still available.
I was actually thinking to give it a try when our autumn/winter comes around next year.

yeah I haven't had any luck on google but I might just take it into a tailor and see what they say, thanks.

Hi Bal jacket lovers… I have two Moto jackets and they’re both size 34. I’m thinking about purchasing a 36 but won’t be able to try it on. Can anyone give me some idea of how much bigger a 36 is than a 34? And is there a source that can give me dimensions on these jackets? I guess I should just go to balenciaga.com
Thank you for any help 💐
