Ok, I need a super straight and honest opinion: do you think this jacket is too small on me?

I bought all of my Bal jackets right after I had a child and at that point decided 42 was my size. Then this jacket came along and although it is a size 40, I couldn’t pass it up. When I got it at first I was like, “yeah I can make this work” but then I realized it looked tiny on me (pics 1-3). Since that time I’ve lost about 15lbs and I tried it on again (pics 4 -6) and I think it fits better than before but do you guys think it is still looks a bit small??

Doesn't look too small to me at all, in fact I think this is exactly how it was intended to look :yes:
But in saying that, does it pass the swinging your arms around test. That is the maker or breaker for me, if there is any restriction in my arm movement, I find that I just won't reach for that jacket.
And I do love the look of when the sleeves are unzipped all the way personally, that is how I wear my jackets :)

It’s beautufil and looks perfect! Haven’t been here in a while and catching up on comments about the bal moto. I couldn’t agree more. I think it’s balenciaga present that’s dying not the classic vintage. You’re right they don’t sell but I wore my cognac the other day and got so many comments of jacket envy .. So what if people don’t want to pay anymore for someone else’s old jacket that’s fine I get that, but let’s keep loving the ones we have :heart:
On that note.. pretty 08 grey in a 40 here ...it’s VC if the link doesn’t work my phone is playing up!

There is also this AMAZING 09 black that’s sitting on TRR for weeks now! It’s a size 40 but if it was a 42 I’d snatch it right up!

Yes, this is the 2010 camel with bronze zips. The second listing you posted (quoted below) is a biscuit or biscuit/cognac. It’s hard for me to tell between 2007 or 2009 without looking at the inside label but either way she’s a beauty! :loveeyes:

This is the 2009 cognac, not the 2007 biscuit as the 'stud' on the zipper pulls is at the end on the 0£ja

this is the 09 cognac not the 07 biscuit - you can tell by the positioning of the 'stud' on the zipper pulls ...this is the 2007
