I actually like this more without epaulettes than the ones the really come without epaulettes, the new ones look kinda like a leather blazer, not leather moto, if that makes sense. The leather is gorgeous.

My biscuit had quite a strong 'not been worn for a while' smell' - it was fine after being hung in the fresh air for quite a while..When it doesn't stink anymore.

Thanks for that opinion. I have suspected that may be the case. I have one of the newer style motos, and it is a slightly different look than the original style. I've yet to remove any epaulettes, but I think it could happen this season

And yes, to me at least, the newer style motos look less biker-chic, more I'm-going-to-the-office.
How exciting! I spritzed a smoky/musty jacket with a white vinegar and water m8x, then hung out in the sun to dry. The sun is also really good with killing odours (and removing food stains too so it seems!)

Definitely spot test first. I found this worked well, the vinegar smell lingers a bit, but i didn't mind it and disappeared within a few days. Then hang outside, I had mine in the sun for a bit to dry, then in a shady place for a few days. Looking forward to pics!

Alright, I checked again, and I missed a couple of rips in the underarm and near the Balenciaga tag. Nothing major, easily fixable, and the seller said he'd give me a $50 refund in a few days so we'll see.
It's also smelling a lot better now - fingers crossed it will be ready when the moto season is in full swing!!!
