I contacted my SA, and she told me we would have to open a repair case and then contact corporate for them to decide a repair or exchange.
Tbh I’m worried that something like this would happen to a replacement, so I’d rather get a refund.

I’ve always deferred getting a newly released style for this exact reason.. I was just so impressed with the squeeze and was afraid of the constant price increase that I figured if it got any more expensive then I won’t be able to afford it. I hope you get a refund! Please update us. Or maybe you can get store credit.

Mine (small Oak, purchased early October) is holding up fine. Probably worn it more than 10 times, usually with the squeeze handle on and I don’t baby it. There might be a light scuff or two on it but honestly I haven’t looked. It is not my everyday bag though.

did you get resolution on this @danstyles ? curious how the bag is now holding up. i've had my squeeze for a while now and i LOVE the buttery-ness of the leather. had some issues with the padded arm piece but have figured out a placement that works well for my torso.

contemplating getting another one in a larger size or waiting for the next drop!

i got the small but i'm short (think shorter than 5'6") so the medium would have been too big plus too heavy if fully loaded. love the small size and perfect for phone, trifold wallet, extra stuff like a point-and-shoot camera, etc.

so upon reflection, i wouldn't get the medium... just a new colorway or the beaded ones we saw on the runway

I’ve submitted a repair case last Novemver, but I’m still waiting to drop off the bag ( My SA recently told me that she would send the repair team a reminder. I can’t believe it’s taking this long.

I’ve been using it occasionally since, and the problems I mentioned haven’t gotten worse at least. I agree with you tho, I do love the butteriness of the leather. It reminds me of the leather they use on the flamencos.

I recently got a blue small Squeeze and am saving it for spring. The leather is soooo buttery and it holds an astonishing amount for its size. It's sooo comfortable to shoulder carry and I love how easily adjustable the chain strap is. I'm a bit concerned by reports here about wear and tear but we'll see. I'll report back after I've worn it a while in a few months.

This new leather basket bag is soooo beautiful and definitely think the price is more justified in this case (though still a lot of course)

Haha yesss. I think this version is beautiful, like it even more than the leather one, but at that price 😱 not gonna happen. And imagine it getting dirty.

just one available… feel like someone was experimenting and made a prototype, and they decided to sell it

My daughter was in Japan looking for one. Only thing she was able to find was the smaller size in the chalk.

Did she get it? I am about to get it in spring jade color, a little contemplating as the leather is very supple and thinking it might transfer colour from wardrobe?

Obsessed with the new iteration of the squeeze bag with the rope instead of the chain - love how it highlights the laid back and easy quality of the design. Anybody that uses a squeeze bag have any idea how this might wear? Looks like it adjusts by tying a knot… think the rope would hold up or be annoying to change? Anybody have insights into pricing?
