I asked Toronto store to search for several designs and it was successful in 7 cases (out of 10). There is no additional charge. I would definitely give it a try.
However, it can take 2-3 months easily. Meanwhile you can continue to look for 05 in other stores. It's so popular that you can sell it without problem in case you get 2 (or keep both :)).

I have had my SA do this several times and have been successful tracking down the scarf I wanted. But as enfant_terrible points out, it can take a longggg....time (12 weeks in one case). I was told the process works like this (which explains the time delay!): Request made to H Paris, H Paris locates the scarf anywhere within the world except US (no explanation provided for why not...) , scarf sent to H- quality control, H quality control vets scarf, scarf sent out to requesting boutique. The deposit is actually the full price of the scarf. If you receive the scarf and don't like it, you can refuse it, but will end up with a store credit rather than a refund ( since with the process normally longer than 1 week has passed) - but it's not like you're not ever going to buy another H- 90 cm silk....LOL

Thank you. 7 out of 10 seems like a really good chance. Fingers crossed. I will just keep an eye for it when I go to US as well.

I am Type A personality so I normally call my SA to follow up if I am not going to be visiting the boutique any time soon.

That colorway is so beautiful! If I could have bought two of that pattern, yours would have been my next choice! (I already bought 2 Samurais, so I couldn't justify buying two Iris patterns. This SS2017 season is outstanding!) Congratulations, again. Happy Summer to you!

I'm in the US and knew there was a colorway in Toronto that I wanted. When they did the global search they indicated that Toronto had the colorway. They told me maybe two weeks in that it was located and then it took another two weeks to arrive. I didn't have to put down a deposit but did say I was 1000% sure I wanted the scarf and provided my CC for the charge once it arrived.
