This is the ribbon that I almost always get on my h.com scarves ordered from the US website.

Hmmm.... Maybe they ran out of them when I ordered online in the U.S.. I sort my ribbons by year and roll and stack them, calling it my H yearly purchase chart. :giggle: When I knew that I didn't get the year theme ribbon, I was at first a bit disappointed but I'm happy that I'm now going to have a La Maison des Carres online roll. :coolio:

You are so organized. I have a big bag of ribbons that I don't know what to do with. [emoji854]

CW #07 Iris scarf (it has a very long name, if you need for me to type it out...let me know!)
This scarf has the most beautiful shades of purple

Grrr...TPF won't let me upload without making screenshots. Sorry! Those always take away the ability to zoom for detail.
Hi rainneday - this is gorgeous! I haven't been in yet to see the new scarves but you are giving me a good reason to pop in now and see our favorite SA. Thanks for sharing these photos of the Iris - I think I need one now!

I have a question for my dear scarfies, is this ribbon new this season or has it always been like this for EU site? I don't think they came with US site carres when I used to order from there and I don't remember if I've ordered from the EU site before. Anyone knows if this is new or only for EU site?

Hi cavalla! This came on my two recent EU site purchases also but my in-store purchase came with the "sens de l'objet" ribbon. I know that I have, in the past, had online purchases come with the themed ribbon. Who knows how the H mind works? [emoji6][emoji6][emoji1][emoji1]

I see! I bought mine from the EU site too! I think I'll bring it with me next time I'm in the store just to feel and compare with other ones. It does bother me a little that it is not as soft as my twilly but maybe that's is just they way the produce it now.

The print is still so gorgeous though [emoji7][emoji7] Love the details on this print so much!!
I've been buying H scarves since 1986, and there is definitely a difference in the way they feel now... or at least, there can be a difference for specific scarves. When I bought Mythes et Metamorphoses a couple of seasons ago (AW2014) is was extremely stiff and did not drape at all well. I bought it anyway, because I loved the design, but it took two washings with The Laundress to get enough of the sizing out of it that it would drape.
Now I realize that scarf-washing isn't for everyone, but I have been washing my scarves for years and I have it down to a no-fail system. Other than MetM, I haven't felt the need to wash any of my recent purchases, but I have noticed that it takes at least 10 wearings before most of them soften up enough to drape properly. (I do lightly steam my scarves after I wear them, which also helps.) On the other hand, this isn't true of all new issues! For example, Under the Waves was wonderfully soft the minute it came out of the box, and so was Sieste au Paradis.
If you think you might want to wash a scarf, there is an excellent thread on this subject on tPF. Good luck!
