Dear all,
I just purchased my first 90x90 silk twilly scarf from Hermes.com but I find the silk a little 'stiff' compared to my twillies, is it normal? I remember when I bought one 90x90 for my mom a few years back they felt quite soft?

Dear fawnhagh,
Welcome to the silky slope! 90x90 carrés have been made with different silk types and finishing products over the years, to accommodate environmental regulations on products used in manufacturing as well as simply different 'styles'. So some seasons they would feel crisp while other seasons more liquid-y soft. Just always purchase directly from Hermès or a trusted reseller (and/or authenticate) and you won't end up with a truly off scarf!

Wow thank you so much for your reply! I didn't know that at all! I guess that's why the one I just bought is a bit more 'crispy'. I purchased it through the European H.com so I guess it should be ok :)

I am obsessed with their spring and summer prints! Now I am eyeing the savana dance CSGM ;)
