Would you kindly share with me what makes mousseline too delicate for you? I have been on the fence for a while about adding one of those lovely scarves but am incredibly klutzy and am worried that I will destroy it in no time.

To be honest, I just assumed but it seems I may have been mistaken. Like you, I was worried I would destroy them in no time. I like to put a scarf on and off or put it in a bag without worrying about it. But perhaps they are less delicate than they appear.

Hello twin-fun, I'm just jumping in to give you this link to a post on the mousseline thread. It echoes what many of us have noted over the years. Mousselines look very delicate, but are actually quite sturdy!

agree with etoile de mer...my mousselines wear way better than my cashmere shawls! not delicate at all in my experience...

I love mousseline and am waiting for one to come along that I love. I missed out on my HG (the light pink jardin anglais). I really hope they release something else in that pastel soft type color palette.

As far as 2017 goes, do they bring out new ones each season or is this latest release of new scarves it for this year?

Finally a new Mousseline to treasure. I hoped to see more colorways and know they are still to come, but this one grabbed my attention to try out. I love this scale for the iris pattern. It is like a changeant, it changes colors, layers and ties so differently each time- a magical Mousseline.
This is Rose the/vert/Corail colorway.

I loved your close-ups of this mousseline, lanit. So enabling! I agree that the scale of the design and the suggestion of delicate petals translate very well into this format.

Last few years, mousseline are only released in SS. However, they often don't seem to arrive in stores until later in the Jan-June time period. Also, often designs and CWs NEVER appear on the h.com site. You may need to ask at a boutique because they are not always on display.

I tried your blue Appaloosa and am going to have to decide between it and one from last season which should arrive soon. Decisions in real life are so much easier!

Congrats, twin, it's fabulous on you! Cavalcadour Fleuri is one of those that have to be tried on in person to fully appreciate the design. And the anemone border FTW!
