Really? I feel like one little snag on my ring would be a disaster.

Glad we are triple twins. I am trying to avoid triples in this. I don't know why I resist. I will hopefully limit myself to one silk and one moussie and call it a day. I hope.

Pocketpup, Your mousse is beautiful and so is the one you're looking at. Do indulge, as it will be perfect for summer. I will echo others in saying that mousselines are not fragile or delicate or prima donnas. In fact, I find them the hardiest of all H silks and treat them like hardy raw tussar silk. Not even being caught in a car door and *dragging the wet highway for 20 miles* damaged one of my mine, not even one little bit. True story.

Thank you arabesques. Ok. No more fear of my moussie. And I'll go for the new one. [emoji4]

Wow! I am impressed, I hope that's a new one you are referring to. I do worry about the quality of the silk used now.

I have several moussies, including the jardin anglais and one dating back to the 1990, and definitely think they are different in quality and feel. I can't describe it clearly but my older mousse definitely feels thicker and has withstood a lot. The newer ones are much thinner to my fingertips.

Thank you, I think I just have to be a little more careful. May I ask how your Jardin Anglais has held up, I haven't worn mine yet. :p

I love it but have only worn it once so I can't say how it will hold up. I have had the chance to wear my other ones from the past five years frequently for dinners, work, etc. No snags and has been fine in the rain. I am careful with them though. I keep it in my scarf pouch when I carry it in my purse and an careful near the stair cases in my house (wood is the enemy of silk!). I have snagged other silks because of these [emoji45]. Also dry hands, broken nails, Velcro and zippers are deadly. As long as you avoid those, should be fine.
