Finally a new Mousseline to treasure. I hoped to see more colorways and know they are still to come, but this one grabbed my attention to try out. I love this scale for the iris pattern. It is like a changeant, it changes colors, layers and ties so differently each time- a magical Mousseline.
This is Rose the/vert/Corail colorway.

Will post more photos when I've time on the Mousseline thread. Sorry for the huge photos. iPad editing is not cooperating this am.

This is such a special scarf and suits you so well. I adore the various greens. Congratulations!

Bonjour dear scarfies!
Allow me to share my first acquisition from ss17. I knew I was going to like this design. But I am so much more thrilled than I expected. Its been quite some seasons since I have been captivated by the intricate, extremely fine and rich details of a design. I find this scarf truly amazing!

I just love this CW. Thank you for posting the pictures. I am thinking a lot about grey/yellow lately.

This is absolutely stunning!
I know I've said it before but I so wish this came in the CSGM. Mousseline is too delicate for me
Would you kindly share with me what makes mousseline too delicate for you? I have been on the fence for a while about adding one of those lovely scarves but am incredibly klutzy and am worried that I will destroy it in no time.

Hello twin-fun, I'm just jumping in to give you this link to a post on the mousseline thread. It echoes what many of us have noted over the years. Mousselines look very delicate, but are actually quite sturdy!

agree with etoile de mer...my mousselines wear way better than my cashmere shawls! not delicate at all in my experience...

Like others, thought I wouldn't like Cavalcadour Fleuri but I was intrigued when I saw this cw 9 sitting on the counter. Tried it on and knew it had to join my shawl collection. Twins with Ms. Piggy on this one....it is stunning...the anemone border makes it! So happy to be cousins/twins with many of you! (Please pardon DD's messy room!!)View attachment 3587527View attachment 3587528IMG_0907.jpgIMG_0902.jpg
