Monceau, I am so honored to be your twin on this Bayadere! I think that we have the best color combo of this stole! It goes with so much and the colors really play nicely with one another. You look amazing and I know you will enjoy it!!!! It is my first plume too, so I'm not much help in answering your question about runs. So far, so good! I have to say that this is the softest thing that I own! :smile1: Hugs to you, my stylish friend! CONGRATS!!! :hugs:

Hey Girlie!
I've been on a damage tour lately in between a grueling summer schedule
PM me when you are going to be in NYC again !

Thank you, dear Vigee! I am also branching out from the CSGMs. This plume is so light and airy, H really does wonders with all of their fabrications.
I can't wait to see your GM silk choices. I imagine the Ceintures will be wonderful in this format and I'm certain whichever you choose will be fabulous on you!

Oh, I am thrilled to be your twin, Ladybaga! You look absolutely radiant in your Bayadere mod shots, so I grabbed this without hesitation. I've done some research and the consensus is that one should be extra careful with the plume stole, but I tend to be careful with my scarves anyway. The hand is absolutely amazing and the coloration is gorgeous.
Aren't we fortunate to have such a special piece!:hugs:

Good to know that our plume needs a little TLC. :smile1: I am extra careful with my things as well. However, sometimes a run just happens. My pink Kachinas shawl has a few runs, as one of my turquoise cuffs brushed against it. I've learned not to let it bother me. :p Afterall, these beautiful pieces of art are meant to be worn and loved. Thank you, again, for your complement! I am so glad to have enabled you on this stole. I am so flattered! :blushing:

I have missed you!!! Can't wait to see your latest goodies!!! I've gone back to teaching school full time, so tomorrow will be my first day for inservice! The kids come on Aug. 19th. How I miss our damage tours!!! I'll definitely PM you when we head up there. October is such a lovely time in NYC. Hmmmmm........maybe a long weekend is in order;)
Take care, sweet friend!!!

I've been relatively good this season, but every time I visit tpf, I break my ban!
This time, it was seeing the delightful Ladybaga in her festive Plume Bayadere.
The plume stole is so incredibly soft, but I am concerned by its delicacy.

A question for those who own a plume stole- how do they wear over time?
I have a couple of LV stoles which are prone to runs. Not very noticeable in
the LV stole, but would concern me with the plume, as a run would be more obvious.

truly a stunning colorway on you Monceau. I was so very tempted by this one as well, but I am rough on my silks though the softness is divine!

Ladies, would like your advice on the concours d'etriers dip dye. I bought the orage cw a few this back and am now considering the saumon pink one, mostly because I love pink and like how well the print shows up on this DD. do you think it's worth keeping of should I return? I originally went to the store for the pink but chose the blue bc my SA disliked how orange that pink looked on me, not orange in a happy way but more sickly looking. If I keep it, I would give the blue to my mom. Trying to avoid the duplicates when possible. Pics below for comparison...

I preferred the salmon on you before I even read your dilemma. I'm sure you made the right decision for you

Dear Scarf Lovers, I am so excited for FW 2014/15 scarf season, but before the SS season closes I would like to share the other scarf I chose in mid-spring. The first was the bleu nuit Mythiques Phoenix pareo that I've already shared, inspired by glorious posts here.

The second is the other color way, which I'm not sure has been shared? But even if it has been, it's too beautiful to not get a good viewing before our attention turns to fall. I received it a couple of months ago—but no picture comes too late, right?

Mythiques Phoenix cotton pareo in Lagoon, Brique, and other colors of the sea and son . . .

And though it's a repeat, just a shot of the bleu nuit color way for comparison...

Beautiful pics arabesques!

I couldn't resist both cws (in the silks) either and it proved to be a record season for me, too many irresistible scarves, and true to form I could never leave a mythical winged creature behind held captive in a draw :D

Thank you,Les Tambours.I love wearing
an artistic motif, not only appriciating it.I”ll keep on challenging.

It takes someone to show this scarf 'IRL' to really appreciate the beauty, and it truly is an artistic and beautiful statement, GREAT choice.

This is a late-breaking addition for me, and a "naughty 90cm," but I couldn't resist this blanc/vert/brun Leila. I adore the pattern, and the colors have that unexpected-but-somehow-elegant thing going on that makes me love H so much. I have to thank Frou Frou for pulling this out of the drawer in London and trying it on herself-- it looked incredible on her and I've had it on my mind ever since. After trying it on again at the NY H meetup and getting the nod from Arabesques and Dharma, I couldn't hold out any longer.

I know the GM in these colors has appeared here, but I don't recall seeing the 90, so thought I'd post a couple of pics. No idea why the colorway is called "blanc," by the way-- the background color has a distinctly creamy tone to it.

Totally captivating, and I can imagine it against you hair - perfect. Congratulations, so many of the scarves this season transport me onto a 'higher plane', 'the garden' is a silky world of botanical finesse, magic.

I'm trying to find pics of the BH (Hermès à Beverly Hills) mousseline IRL, but the search doesn't work. Even google is at loss. I keep getting pics of the store ;)
Would owners of this mousseline be kind enough to show me mod pictures? I'm trying to guess what cw would be best.
TIA!

Google "hermes limited edition mousseline beverly hills" and it has I think two CWs. The limited edition 90cm silk scarf that I bought from Beverly Hills this year was only in aqua and white. Hope this helps.
