And at the very same time as falling for the CSGM format, I've fallen for the Maxi Twilly too.

The first to steal my breath away is the Kachinas in Rouge Vif/Orange/Ebene. This scarf makes me simply happy. It's like a radiating sun.

The second is Brides de Gala in Canard/Marine/Gris Acier. As soon as I put this one, I was a goner. It's the perfect blue for me, and the Canard just pops against my wardrobe.

I use them as headbands and as belts. As soon as it grows cooler, I'll be looping them around the neck. I'm now a loyal fan of this format and hope for many more in the months to come!

Lovely arabesques. Although I have one maxi twill, Brazil in fuchsia, I find that I don't gravitate to it often, but your post has inspired me to try again. I especially like the way you tied the belt with less width of the scarf showing. I am very petite (just under 5') so it is a little tricky to not have the obi sash look take over half of my body!! I will try your method today

My dear silkies, thank you all for the kind compliments. I feel fortunate to have both the china blue and the vert mauve licornes. It almost makes me want to pass on the Marwari, but I cannot resist the call of those beautiful horses so I will likely succumb to Ms AF's most divine horse silk. must try to limit to one Colorway on that one though. And I see on the Fall thread that they are now trickling in with great gusto! My heart calls for the blue one but my complexion tells me pink now back to spring !

Thanks, Papertiger. The call of the winged creature . . . Every time I go to H, I'm pulled to grab both 90cm versions. I know I shouldn't—not only because of the format (less useful for me) but mainly because the pareo truly looks better with its see-through softer whites—but this design is a siren.

A record season for you—and suddenly I realize a record season for me.

There are three more scarves to share from SS 2014 before the fall Marwaris appear on my doorstep . . .

First, a Songe de la Licorne in natural/saumon/corail. This color way hasn't been posted in the thread (or so I've been told, so apology if I'm in error there). This is my first CSGM, and how heavenly. This spring and summer, my wardrobe has moved into shades of blush, pink, and coral, so this scarf is the crowning touch.

These are not my best colors but I wish they were. Congrats on a lovely shawl.

Lanit you wear this so well. It's a gorgeous breath of fresh spring air. Now that i have taken pics to post, I realize how difficult it is to capture the silk's true colors, drape properly, and look good. I admire all you ladies and your artistic shots.
