Ladies, would like your advice on the concours d'etriers dip dye. I bought the orage cw a few this back and am now considering the saumon pink one, mostly because I love pink and like how well the print shows up on this DD. do you think it's worth keeping of should I return? I originally went to the store for the pink but chose the blue bc my SA disliked how orange that pink looked on me, not orange in a happy way but more sickly looking. If I keep it, I would give the blue to my mom. Trying to avoid the duplicates when possible. Pics below for comparison...

Make that three agrees though both look beautiful on you.

perfumegirl01, I also think you look lovely in both colorways but I vote for the saumon pink as well - I am absolutely in love with mine even though I initially thought the color was too close to my skin tone. Instead it makes me happy to see all the soft colors and the gorgeous details, and is one of my most-worn dip dyes. I personally love wearing it with denim and a white tshirt. Good luck with your decision!

Love the blue
Any chance you can keep both
They do look different enough to have both in your collection

Dear Scarf Lovers, I am so excited for FW 2014/15 scarf season, but before the SS season closes I would like to share the other scarf I chose in mid-spring. The first was the bleu nuit Mythiques Phoenix pareo that I've already shared, inspired by glorious posts here.

The second is the other color way, which I'm not sure has been shared? But even if it has been, it's too beautiful to not get a good viewing before our attention turns to fall. I received it a couple of months ago—but no picture comes too late, right?

Mythiques Phoenix cotton pareo in Lagoon, Brique, and other colors of the sea and son . . .

And though it's a repeat, just a shot of the bleu nuit color way for comparison...

Both wonderful to look at- these pareos are so nice and easy to wear
Yes! Agree they can be worn year around -- love your styling of them
Thank you for sharing

This is a tough call, perfumegirl as they both look lovely on you and I have a particular fondness for DDs.
I would try to keep BOTH as I think they are so dissimilar but if I could only keep one ~ and I am going against the popular vote here, I know ~ I would keep the blue :hugs:

This next one I have been eying for months! The moment you start to fold it, it develops such magic its full of surprises! I do think its not "fair" that it costs the same as the other (much intricate designs) but the colors are amazing and it really ties beautifully!

Quadri

CW 02 Mauve/Ciel/Parme

As I viewed your pictures, I thought it looked like opening boxes...very interesting and agree that the colors are exquisite!

Your H styling in these pics is superb, arabesques. Love your sellier K and evelyne with these MP pareos. They are gorgeous

This is a late-breaking addition for me, and a "naughty 90cm," but I couldn't resist this blanc/vert/brun Leila. I adore the pattern, and the colors have that unexpected-but-somehow-elegant thing going on that makes me love H so much. I have to thank Frou Frou for pulling this out of the drawer in London and trying it on herself-- it looked incredible on her and I've had it on my mind ever since. After trying it on again at the NY H meetup and getting the nod from Arabesques and Dharma, I couldn't hold out any longer.

I know the GM in these colors has appeared here, but I don't recall seeing the 90, so thought I'd post a couple of pics. No idea why the colorway is called "blanc," by the way-- the background color has a distinctly creamy tone to it.

So late to complimenting you on this gorgeous silk calexandre - the pattern is so detailed and fine - it takes one with a beautiful complexion and fine boned features to bring out this silks loveliness. I wish it had worked for me but have not given up hope that perhaps it might surface as a mousseline in the coming year or two. Clapping for you.:woohoo:

Repeat - repeat - the MP is totally worth the duo-over! You rock both colorways and are lucky to have them both to last you for quite some time! I do think the aqua and gold suit your latest wardrobe choices to a T!

Thank you, dear Lanit. It's a little crazy, isn't it, this summer's pull toward the golden . . . Why didn't I go that direction before? It feels fabulous.

Dear,Arabesques,

Actually,I have two pareos, Echec au roi and circuit 24 faubourg. Both are my favorite patterns.I could'nt pass when I met them at H store.Rare ocasion to wear.I”ll let them float around my body this season! You inspired me a lot! Thank you, again.

Echec au roi? In a pareo? Oh, I wish I had know about that—that would be so much fun. I think I need to hunt for some pictures . . . :graucho:

I bought the same maxi twilly yesterday. I was looking for a different colour but when the SA showed me this, I really like it. It may look a bit blue under the light.
happy to be your Twin Chrissy!

Love this Quadri, Pegase ~ I have been debating about it in another CW! Congrats, it ties beautifully
Tell me about it! I also have another CW that is tickling me... but this season has been too much!!

isn't it amazing? i have the same in this color. have you tried to combine it together with another 90 of a similar color?
not yet! but I am sure that could work out pretty well! :D

Pegase, seeing your two handsome HS, I think you should become a personal shopper for a living.
U know what? I think so too!... it just would be difficult not being able to keep all the beautiful things... lol

Vie en Rose, temps, BirkingLover, QKay, Sammy Royal...
A delayed Thank You!
