Le Voyage de Pytheas
and Bouquets Sellier
Two superb designs, and delicate cws! Congrats!

Although I received this Songe de la Licorne for Mother's Day, I have only recently summoned the courage to post on this and other threads. I love this design so much that I then proceeded to purchase the same design in a CSGM, with the cream colored background! Such a slippery slope...:smile1:
Yes it is, my dear Bova! Congrats about your Songes!!

Claude Vialla
04 miel/indigo/vieux rose
cherryblossum, I might follow you on this Claude Viallat! Les Maillons de Joël Stein had this (too) large border, but Viallat might fit the deal! Thinking of it more and more!

Nice to see you ,Anfang! I'm glad I can hear from you.Claude Viallat is excitng.I have les Mailons de JS,black background, red&bleu border.CV is quite different from maillons. You can see the brushwork,as if he painted on the silk canvas.Take a look at it!

Make sure I will, my dear! I know I've been MIA those days. But I agree, Claude Viallat is exciting! Les Maillons in black couldn't work for me, I don't have black backgrounds. And the white background really was a problem, be it in black or blue, so I made up my mind to pass. But I think I'm going to give a try ti Viallat! I'll keep you posted about this!

Ladies, would like your advice on the concours d'etriers dip dye. I bought the orage cw a few this back and am now considering the saumon pink one, mostly because I love pink and like how well the print shows up on this DD. do you think it's worth keeping of should I return? I originally went to the store for the pink but chose the blue bc my SA disliked how orange that pink looked on me, not orange in a happy way but more sickly looking. If I keep it, I would give the blue to my mom. Trying to avoid the duplicates when possible. Pics below for comparison...

I have this coral/salmon DD and love how neutral it is for me. We have similar coloring. You should keep the one you will wear and enjoy most. It seems you prefer the coral one? I love how it looks like a vintage silk piece and I wear mine with my rouge Garance Evelyne. Do you reach for the blue one? If not, the you should consider exchanging or gifting to your mother. BTW I think you look fabulous in coral.

I agree with lanit-- I think the pink looks great on you in this photo.

Dear Scarf Lovers, I am so excited for FW 2014/15 scarf season, but before the SS season closes I would like to share the other scarf I chose in mid-spring. The first was the bleu nuit Mythiques Phoenix pareo that I've already shared, inspired by glorious posts here.

The second is the other color way, which I'm not sure has been shared? But even if it has been, it's too beautiful to not get a good viewing before our attention turns to fall. I received it a couple of months ago—but no picture comes too late, right?

Mythiques Phoenix cotton pareo in Lagoon, Brique, and other colors of the sea and son . . .

And though it's a repeat, just a shot of the bleu nuit color way for comparison...

Both are stunning and each has its own personality - so envious but you wear them so well!

First I saw your photos, I thought they were mousseline.Beautiful
colors!! And the combo with your Kelly and Evelyne are so beautiful!
You show me how to deal with pareos so nicely in ordinary use!
Thank you for sharing and enjoy Aarabesques!

Both are amazing! What great summery scarves, and your styling is really lovely.

Thank you, Zookzik.

You're so sweet, VesperSparrow. Yes, the individual color ways create very different effects. One is the sun; the other is the moon. It was impossible not to get both.

Thank you, cherryblossum. I tend to use them like mousselines, as the cotton is quite silky. They have more structure than a silk, but they still float around the body when using as a shawl or sun-shield. You might want to explore them some day . . .

Thank you, momasaurus. Styling is so much fun when playing with Hermes.

Dear,Arabesques,

Actually,I have two pareos, Echec au roi and circuit 24 faubourg. Both are my favorite patterns.I could'nt pass when I met them at H store.Rare ocasion to wear.I”ll let them float around my body this season! You inspired me a lot! Thank you, again.
