Les Bateaux du Monde looks almost identical to Jonques et Sampans, except there are more boats in the center. This picture of Jonques et Sampans was taken from the web.

The border is made up of tropical flowers and a few parrots and monkeys are sitting in the flowers.

Photo Finish is an actual photograph (not a drawing) of a jockey racing on a horse. The photo is double/triple exposed to show you that the jockey is racing very fast.

This oil painting looks just like it, except that there are vertical lines across the entire scarf, not just the bottom.

Echec du Roi has four chess pieces/knights laying on its back on each side of the scarf, with one horse head on an angle in the center. The chess pieces have mechanical drawings of circles/squares/on top of them and around them - the feeling is very similar to the Pegasus scarf that showed the mechanical drawings of the horse. The chess pieces have different colors of squares and rectangles all around the chess piece.

Ors Bleus d'Afrique is a very busy scarf The design has many squares inside of each other with a large diamond shape in the center of the scarf. Inside the diamond shape is a five point star in the center. Above and below the large center diamond are two smaller diamond shapes. There are lots of little objects/drawings everywhere. There is no dead space at all on this scarf - it is very busy.

I Like Flowers has a lot of dead space The feel of it is very similar to Des Fleurs pour le Dire, minus the envelopes. The thin stems of wild flowers/weeds are used to spell out in capital letters the words:

I LIKE FLOWERS
I THINK
FLOWERS LIKE ME

in the center of the scarf. These words make up the whole scarf.

Pique Fleuri de Provence is a very busy scarf. It is very similar to Ors Bleus d'Afrique in that it has squares inside of other squares until you get to the center of the scarf. At the center is a six point star, with different flowers in each point. The border is made up of little bunches of wild flowers that you would see in Provence. The scarf reminds me of a patchwork quilt with little squares/rectangles that make up the scarf and each area is covered with lots of little flowers. There is no dead space at all on this one - very busy.

Promenade au Fauborg reminds me of the Coupons Indiens scarf crossed with Escher's Relativity lithograph. The design is supposed to be the inside of 24F showing the walkways, staircases, different tile work and bricks. Each staircase leads to the next, as you make your way around the square. Similar to Coupons Indienes in that each strip has a different pattern in it, but in this scarf it is little squares of different patterns, not strips.

Le Songe de la Licorne. This may be a case where the title doesn't match the scarf. About fifteen elaborately decorated belts are laid out on the scarf, crossing over each other. The belt buckles are very elaborate. Their is some sort of decoration around the border. Four or five horse/unicorn heads are placed around the center randomly. Uno doesn't see the connection between this scarf and the title. The horse heads look alot like the Ors Normands horse heads. It might be Faivre, not sure.

We owe it all to Cool TPF'er!

Uno is just the messenger.

Cool TPF'er loves Uno enough to share the information, but really prefers cats!

So this picture is for you Cool TPF'er!!
