Too cute- I do remember Whimpy asking for a cheeseburger. I dunno- big striped kitty is one of momma's favorite in her c/s brood but should I need to rehome will keep you in mind. :kitty::catlick:

Not at all! This would be perfect for sports theme. Since I am a three year newbie in scarf collecting, has this design been offered in a 90cm silk? I know it has been done in silk jersey this current season. Seems like Hermes should have saved this design for Spring 2013. It will, indeed, be interesting to see what designs will be offered.

Lol. Girls, Mindi, you are reading my mind. This theme is lackluster sounding for me too. Sports seem like such an odd subject matter for silk, but who knows, maybe the juxtaposition will be interesting?? I understand horses and sports, but what are we going to see? Swimmers? Balls? Maybe this will be a good season to add some clic clacks to my collection!!

Desperate for that announcement now Uno! I think if there were a year theme of 'big cats' many of the people here would just go into melt down so a refreshing dip into the world of sport is probably necessary :-)

Shopping is a recreational sport for many. How about a scarf that folds into an eco-friendly shopping bag?

Going to the gym is more important for lots of people than team sports. How about instead of a "ships in the bottle" scarf --boutilles de la mer (spelling way off)--H just shows the water bottles instead?

Or, there could be some tribal sports like Yak races. Yaks have not been featured in a H scarf ever. Camels, not too much, except on the Desert Leathers H scarf.

This should have been a theme for the Olympics, like toujours chic said.

Mindi B, did you collect the confident des coeurs scarf, teddy bears? I always wondered how that one was received.

I love the idea of Yaks racing! Maybe a reissue of Tibet would be appropriate with a new Yak design!

eagle1002us - I recall the SAs in my local store saying Confident du Coeurs was the scarf of the season; definitely their bestseller at that time . But toys on a scarf seem to do well - Raconte moi des histores with all the rocking horses on it was also really popular.

Having difficulty imagining how Hermes could deal with weightlifting and hammer throwing in an elegant way but Yak racing sounds fun!. Weren't there Yaks on a scarf a few seasons ago ( name I've completely forgotten) with a complex border and a train of pack animals crossing what looked like the foothills of the Himalaya?
