Hoping the old 'Combat de Coqs' isn't re-issued as it used to be, in the bad old days of barbarism, considered a sport. Hermes have a big back catalogue of hunting scenes that I don't think will be well received in this day and age so it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

I love hearing about what's coming next. Me three as to not being very interested in sportif scarves. Could be good news for my wallet. Now, if the theme were "cuddly animals," I'd be doomed. :p

Yeah I totally agree with those who aren't into the "sport" theme. But I figure usually the theme only extends to a few scarves (like the "time" theme for fall) and hopefully there will be lots of other new cool designs that have nothing to do with sports.

ETA: I'm a huge sports fan btw. I'm just not looking to have sports on my Hermes scarf!

perhaps horse racing, polo, cricket, lawn bowling, croquet, tennis, rowing, yacht racing- still not sure I would gravitate to such designs since they are special to afficianados of these sports and may not have universal appeal; seems like this theme would have been more appropriate to a season running up to the Olympics

just as happy to not part with money for designs that do not resonate with me

They could offer a "strip billiards" design, in honor of Prince Harry! I was unaware of that sport until the other day...

I can't say that I am excited about a sports theme, but Hermes always surprises. On the off chance that nothing sings to me, it will just provide me with more opportunities to focus on vintage pieces or leather goods!

Tigre would be amazing in a GM, so I hope It will be on the list!
