I imagine if H have a problem with photo's being pasted here they will make it known, until then imo it is a storm in a teacup. I am grateful to see pics in one place because I find the H site quite unhelpful in terms of browsing the colors and comparing.

Not too impressed so far with this collection.

Sheerblonde, it's already out. It was on h.com Europe yesterday but naturally it's gone already. I wanted to buy it but aside from the black CW I've posted here I'm hoping for a cream, taupe, brown version as per the snippet below. Don't know if it will be available...that's truly the downside with H.

Anyone have intel re: CWs available for Equateur aside from the black? TIA
Thanks for the information. I'm a newbie in the world of Hermès.:smile1:

ITA with all you say!

I'm holding out hope for pique fleuri, but not much else interests me.
I do like the Echec, but I will need to see it opened out in various cws to make up my mind.Graff might be interesting, but I hate the idea of wrapping myself in such a large Label. It doesn't seem possible that the large format will allow one to avoid showing a large "HERMES" somewhere in the mix. Being a walking billboard is not my style. Tennis racquets and golf clubs should be left to Lily Pulitzer and J Crew. As I said earlier, some of these designs look like bad Country Club attire from the 70's. Does anyone else think some of these choices seem odd for a brand with an international focus? Where is the imagination and fantasy we have come to expect from Hermes?

I'm hoping that this is just an off season and not a harbinger of things to come.

I agree with you dear Monceau ! and think the same ! that's why I didn't buy any scarve even from the last collection that I found not the be at the level (colors - designs) we were used to from Hermès ! (and for the price they cost) :)

I saw various SS 2013 scarves today (and went home Le Mors à la conetable in CW48 - fuchsia/orange/anis).

The scarf is very vibrant, nearly neon, but gorgeous for rainy and cloudy days while waiting for nicer weather.
Anis is more like lime-green, the images on H.com did not get it.

I did not like Les Trophees (not that interesting) or I like flowers (boring CWs).

Hi,MANY CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW SCARF!! i'm loving the Le mors a' la conetable the same CW you bought but my H boutique in Rome hasn't received it yet. Please, i'd like so much seeing it modeled and flat, could you show us some pics if you have time?? TIA

Thanks for uploading all of these scarves, foxie!!!

Luckily, it appears my wallet is relatively safe this season although Licorne is cute, as is Tropique but I MUST have Equateur summer silk (below) and will likely try the Pique Fleuri GM as well.

JulianF, this is beautiful! Do you by any chance have a picture of the Pique Fleuri as well? Have you seen it? Very few things from this season have appealed to me so far, but I like Christine Henry very much (we are twins on the black L'Arbre de Vie, which was my first GM too) -- so I'm holding out hope for this design. Thanks!

I'm thinking Equateur may be my only hope but I do see some potential in Pique. I think it will be a bang or bust, depending on the wearer. Hope to see both designs IRL very soon and hope Pique really doesn't look like a quilt (which is the vibe I'm getting). Maybe like our beloved L'Arbre it will become a staple. Funny thing is, Equateur is also an H wallpaper! Hope I don't end up looking like I'm wearing my bedroom...

Here are two CWs pictures I have of Pique for reference - hope it helps, Spring:

Many thanks, Julian! I'm afraid I have to agree with you - I don't love it at first sight, will have to see it in person, but on the screen it looks quite busy and relentlessly floral. I like Christine Henry's whimsical creatures, but I can't see any here - still, it certainly merits a closer look ... But I may have to pass on this season altogether, unless the Equateur twill comes in neutral colors (like the one in your photo - wonderful!)

This one has to find its way into my closet! I am in love! And with Le Songe de la Licorne!

I love your musings, paper tiger. I'd love to see Pique Fleuri, Photo Finish looks very cool to me, Les Trophees is pretty but lifeless to me and I love flowers is quite dull. The colors seem almost psychedelic, excerpt for 90 cm Echecs where they are either different or seem to work. You are always such a savvy, style certain shopper!

You are too kind

Everyone's opinions are very interesting to me in these seasonal threads, this time there seems quite a bit of common ground.

I don't want to say too much about I Love Flowers in case of offending any future purchaser but to me it is seems like one of those scarves H earmarks for sole purpose of gift giving for a stranger if you know what I mean.

I am not really fussed on any of the scarves I saw yesterday here and on H.com. I quite liked the cartoon horse 70cm one but it's a lot of money for a cartoon like scarf. Maybe I will like something when I see others modelling them. Photo Finish looks interesting but not enough to buy. Not the best collection I've seen.

It seems like many of us share the same views

Happily, I don't think most of us will be running out of scarves to wear for a while ;)

I will continue to be on the lookout for a ClF 01 for you but the very best of luck in your hunt.

I've seen/tried on Pique in several colors now. It is definitely very busy. In some of the more neutral colorways the busyness isn't as obvious because the transitions between the sections of the scarf aren't as sharply demarcated as in the neon colorways. Nonetheless, even in the less bold colorways a lot is going on. I love botanical patterns but this was a bit too stylized for me, and I couldn't seem to vary its looks much with different knots. I'm sure it will be styled beautifully by any number of other people here, who will hopefully post photos!

Picked up two CW of the piqué in pocket square 16" size
They are positively charming
Remind me a bit of calico
I am in the minority but this season has loads of beautiful silks
Dynamic and compelling !
Am excited!
