The reissue of Le Mors a la Conetable is now up on the French and UK sites in some excellent colourways; both bright and restrained.

And for the 70cm vintage silk we can see Les Sportives, Tropiques ( astonishingly pretty), Un Amour de Cheval, Coach and Swing.

I did think my bank account was safe this season but the Le Mors a la Conetable and Le Songe de la Licorne and the forthcoming mouselline stoles may yet break my resolve.[/QUOTE

Thanks for your updates! i'm loving Mors a' la conetables in the strong pop colors, both green and orange one are stunning..Un amour de cheval in pastel color is so spring-time too!!

I seem to have been too slow off the mark to see any of the Graff shawls - if there were any on the site they are not there now but I am integued by, hidden in the 'small items' section and without any proper pictures ( as is not uncommon on the Hermes e-commerce website!) three triangular scarves in different shades of indigo hand made in Bangladesh - absolutely the thing for leisure wear in spring and summer. And probably ethical too. Bang goes the bank account.

Equateur! In fabulous black! So pretty.

ladies and gents,

since i am so new to this, what happens when H re-releases an old design... do they stick with the same CWs or do it in new CWs? i am just trying to plan ahead for the graff shawls and have been looking online at the silks... i don't know what i should expect.

thank you all!

I'm not an expert, but in all of the reissues that I've seen have been new colorations of the design.

Omg! Equateur is gorgeous! When will it be released? This summer?
Sheerblonde, it's already out. It was on h.com Europe yesterday but naturally it's gone already. I wanted to buy it but aside from the black CW I've posted here I'm hoping for a cream, taupe, brown version as per the snippet below. Don't know if it will be available...that's truly the downside with H.

Anyone have intel re: CWs available for Equateur aside from the black? TIA

If you take a look at the Reference Numbers for the scarves on hermes.com you will see some end in a rather high number. The reissue of Mors a la Conetable in bright green ends in 53 making it the fifty third colourway Hermes have made of the design. Do be aware though that not all colourways that are designed make it through the final 'edit' to a production run and actual issue to the shops. But all the silkscreens and colour instructions are filed away at the archive in the factory. Several really successful classic designs seem to have eternal appeal once 'reimagined' in today's colours.

Yes, bethc is correct that for reissues, the colors are new combinations. That is what I love about Hermes. The patterns and colorations are not mass produced. Some countries get completely different colorways than the United States and visa-versa because Hermes will do research to see which colors sell the best in which country they are producing for. Sorry I am so "wordy". I'm starting my first cup of coffee.......
Another point, if you see something you like, I have learned that it is best to buy now and think later. As we all have experienced in Hermes World, once it is gone, it is gone!:D

Yes, this is true! You explained this perfectly, Les Tambours.:smile1:

Ladies, thank you for updates!
The last gavroche for this season is, I suppose, A Propos de Bottes. I saw some of them today and one went home with me. :smile1:
From 90s, Ors Bleus d'Afrique seems to be quite nice, I like the busy borders and subtle colors.
There are also some Denim Pointus on the website, Pani La Shar Pawnee in different shades of blue, must be something new for the season, I can't remember seeing them before.
