Hi everyone!
I got my hands on the Speedy B 25 in DE last week and wanted to know your thoughts on these bag creases..the leather on one side of the bandouliere is a bit wrinkled, the canvas obviously has some creasing from storage and the strap has some leather creasing as well. The D ring on one side has a noticeable scratch and there is a loose thread on one top handle. Should I return this and attempt to order through client services until I get the perfect one? Or would these creases and scratches be found everywhere and I should just keep this bag?

Sorry in my opinion u should Return ! It shouldn’t be this wrinkle .

The wrinkled strap would bother me, I used my DE daily for a couple years and it still doesn't have any wrinkles

I got the Speedy Turtledove last week from the boutique and the SA advised there is no black in current released other than the black in reversed/contrast.

Very glad to have her in my collection!! Can’t wait to carry her out

My new b20. I love this size. It is perfect for me. I’ve found leather speedys in the past a little stiff and heavy for me, even the empreinte 20 that came out 6-7 years ago, due to the double layer of leather on the sides. This version is so much lighter and softer, molds better against the body. The giant LV logo is such a nice juxtaposition against the small bag.

I think the bag looks great. The issues you describe are very minor and wouldn’t bother me. I’m finding nothing is perfect anymore and even if you wait for a new bag, something else may be wrong with it. This bag looks beautiful to me. Enjoy it!

Would love to hear from bandouliere and handheld users. Which do you like better and why? I’ve owned both and sold my 25b and bought the handheld speedy 25 instead. I think I liked the other better but not in a position to do anything about it right now. Although there’s something to be said for the “original”. Thoughts? Thanks!

25b. Why? Because you have the option to remove the strap but you have the option of the strap. With the Speedy 25, your hands are tied…

I’m a crossbody gal and, at these prices, I need versatility. 25B all the way. The few times I carry on the crook, I like the way it looks with the strap draped over.

Ugh so POd that I sold mine. Haven’t taken the new one out of the box yet-bought a few months ago. Maybe I’ll sell and buy the b…I hate when I do things like this!!!

Consult with your CA before you make decisions like this in the future. They hear first hand from clients that regret not getting the bandoulere because they wanted to save some money. Consider the strap as a long term investment. It will resell much higher and always give you the option of more versatility. Also, it looks great on the 25!!

I prefer the look of the Speedy without the strap, but not so much that I’d give up the versatility.
