Being natural untreated leather this can happen. You can use a damp white sock like a glove and evenly wipe over the handles back and forth without saturating them. When fully dry buff them with a soft light colour cloth and that should help. It's worked for me with rain water spots. Hope this helps you [emoji4]
All my bags with vachetta handles are smooth, I've never seen this. I thought it was spotted from something on your hands that the patina hasn't blended yet. Have you asked the store what they thought?

I have the regular speedy in DE 30 and speedy b 30 in monogram. I want the speedy b in DE. Do you think it's worth getting the strap if I have it since I have the other two. And do you think I should get the 25 instead..? I use to have the 25 in mono about 5 years ago before it got stolen. And I thought it was a good size, but after having the 30 I'm not sure.

I sent in my 2016 speedy b 30 to see what the cost would be to repair the handles b/c it has some weird texture. I got a call today and it is $120.00 for both handles an $320.00 for both handles and chads (not sure if that right). The store was the one in Lenox mall Atlanta GA. They said that is most likely was from a chemical reaction from hand sanitizer or lotion on my hands?
Exactly what I was thinking. Remember, everyone's handles will be a bit different because what we carry in our hands, what we put in our hands, the things that we touch with our hands, the oils that our skin produces--all of those things are different.

Hello , I've purchased a Speedy B recently and I need an advise .. does this colour difference look normal to you? The strap and padlock have different "gold tone" than the handbag hardware .. it's much more shiny and the gold is more like yellow :/.

Normal. It is a bit disappointing that they don't match...and be prepared that the lock will tarnish very quickly!
