Thanks Leena! To be honest, I have the straps for emergencies, and try to use it more as a hand held or in the crook of my arm as I just find it more flattering on me. Do you have both the 25 and the 30 in the same canvas or different?

Thank you yogagirl70! (Ps fellow yogi here!) That's good advice. I'm just under 5'4. I figured having the strap makes the bag more secure when you're using it on trips and want to avoid anyone trying to snatch the bag out of your hands (I'm thinking crowded streets in Europe, for example, during summer when it's ultra high season). Which do you find yourself wearing more? And did you get yours in the same canvas or different?

First recommendation if the patina isn't too much change the chap and sell. $60 is a good investment and your speedy looks to be in great shape and in my opinion will sell faster and for more with out the hot stamp.
Second. Keep the 25 and if you can get the speedy 30B in Damier Ebene.

My favorite. Keep the 25 and HOPE they make a speedy in mono with black trim.

Speedys are addicting. I have a mono and azur in 30. An ebene in 35, wish the B was out then and I would have done a 30B instead. But this is my first louis and she will always have a place in my heart. I'm really hoping they make a mono world tour black trim without stickers. I really want a carefree B but can't justify an ebene in 30 and 35.

Thanks Atcprincess!! I have thought about changing the chaps, but worried someone wouldn't want to buy it because of the color difference. The bag is pretty new (got it this past winter) so the patina is still pretty light. I guess I could always cover the handles and pull tabs and just tan the chaps for a few days? (Or maybe you have better advice). I personally prefer the classic speedys over the Bs. I just got the strap for versatility's sake, and just keep it in there for emergencies (like if I am bringing a bunch of stuff in from my car and need to throw the bag on cross body to free up my hands). Other than that, I don't LOVE how the bag looks with the strap on on me. I have thought of getting the 30 in the Damier Ebene as I really do love that red interior . And it is nice that you don't have to worry about the vachetta getting wet and stuff! *Sigh* Decisions, decisions!

Yes.... we are about the same (I am barely 5.5) :)
I only have the handheld Speedy model in 2 prints but would eventually consider adding the "B" version. The only thing that has kept me from getting the 25 B is that I have the Pouchette Metis, and I would pretty much use it for the same purpose. I do love the mono Speedy B 25 though... it is on my long term wish list! And yes, I do love a cross body option for travel... hands free is a must!

I have bought and sold several bags over the years (have been buying LV for 15+ years) and have come to realize that the classic canvas styles work best for me. All of my other bags have a shoulder strap, so I opted for the handheld version of the Speedy. GL with your decision ~ I have had the experience of seller's remorse when I have sold one of the classics, so take your time to think about it. ;)

that was exactly on my mind when i got my first Speedy (30 B). i have the 30 B in DE and 25 B in mono. i feel the mono looks more feminine and summerish. if i knew then that i would end up getting another Speedy, i would have got the 30 in Classic and saved some money there.. LOL.

After so many years of admiring this bag, I finally joined the Speedy club and got the Damier Ebene Speedy Bandouliere 30 as my everyday bag! I love her. She is so lightweight and comfortable to wear. Now TPF friends, not that she needs it, but what cute ideas do you have for bag charms, scarves, etc? Preferably, not an LV charm (and I'm not sure if I'm breaking any LV rules by saying that. But, I'd rather not spend $300 on technically a keychain when I could buy an SLG instead). Thanks for the recommendations ahead of time!

A clochette or a luggage tag. They are are cheap and they dress up the bag without being overwhelming. You can find many pics in the clubhouse [emoji4]
