I've long loved the classic mono Speedy as well, but I know I could not have a strictly top handle bag, my lifestyle just does not accommodate that. But, like you, I don't love the mono bandouliere version as much as the classic. I read something rather wise on this forum a while ago that stuck with me: I am allowed to love a bag but not have to buy it. If it truly doesn't work for me, I'm okay loving it from affair. It helped me realize I don't have to buy a bag and try to struggle to make it work, that it's okay to love it on other people but accept it doesn't fit my lifestyle. Not saying this is universal advice, but it helps whenever I try to talk myself back into the classic Speedy (because it's so pretty!) knowing full well I'd never use it without a shoulder strap, but not liking the look of the speedy b. HTH!

Good question... My new DA Speedy 30 has a zippered pocket inside. Don't know if they are making the 25's differently. The LV website says nothing.
Thought there would be a more detailed description or some inside the bag pictures, but no...
Hi - yes all the canvas Speedy's have a pocket inside, while the zippered version was introduced around 2015-2016 I think. I haven't heard anything about this changing again.
I also vote strap. Personally, I like the look of the strap. It's not worth it to me to have a bag I won't use and I definitely need a strap. Good luck. All are beautiful, so you cannot go wrong with any of them
