My clips are matching in colour and print but thy are not matching in colour with the rest of the hardware!! This is a known issue. What looks strange about your clips is that they differ one from the other. This should not happen. From the pic you posted they are definitely different! I would go to a boutique and ask if they consider this "normal". Good luck! [emoji4]

Both of mine--DE and my mono are like that. I bought them in LV in Vegas. I'm going to call the nearest store and ask the SA I know to look at one in the store and check the clips in her store. The script indentation is deeper on one clip on both bags. Same end pieces too. They are definitely authentic and I find it super strange that LV would do this.

If you look at my pic, yours looks like mine. Its like the script indentation is a tiny bit deeper on one clip. Can you take a pic in brighter light for me? I'm going crazy LOL!!
My DE is like this too. Its a little bit different on each end clip. Maybe it's normal. I'm the only one who notices this. My daughter thinks I'm loopy.

Here's a pic of my mono clips in different lighting. It's not a huge difference but there definitely IS one in my opinion. 
I. Cant see any difference...? But its hard to take a pic where one is not further behind so on picture it may seem that its different.. in real life i dont see a diff.. lol

The speedy in monogram has been my dream bag since I was a teenager but because of the vachetta and me being scared to damage it I never bought it
I have decided to finally get it, but I am not sure if I should go for the classic one, or the one with the strap. I am 5'2, 50 kg and already have a speedyb25 in damier ebene
I love the classic style but I am not really a top handle person, so I know that if I get without the bandouleire it will be used less, but this is the style I love the most
However having the strap option can come very handy but that also means paying more and I recently got the other speedy
If you have both what do you think about them?

My daughter just looked at me all bug eyed when i showed it to her on both bags. She says im too picky LOL! This the same person who goes to victorias secret and will try on every legging style in the store and THEN purchase the first pair she picked up when we walked in like an hour ago. SMH. She's just like me but will never admit it. I love both of my Speedy b's and I'm not going to even worry about it anymore. It has to be pointed out to even notice it anyway. I have both. I have DE speedyB 25 and a Mono speedy 30. I use the regular speedy on weekends. it took me a bit to get used to the top handle since I'm a strap girl but now I love it. I bought the mono preloved because I wasn't sure about the top handle. You might want to go that route. Lots of preloved mono speedys out there in all sizes in a range of conditions.
15 years ago I purchased a Black Epi Speedy 25. Got to say, not my favorite. I kept it because it was such a classic style, but I struggle overtime I wear it. Major zipper hands every time I reach inside for something. It's just too small. To the point that I never felt like I actually owned a Speedy. Well all is right with the world now as I finally purchased a DA Speedy 30. The perfect size Speedy for me and my first DA piece. I am very content right now.
I noticed the exact same thing with the clips for my speedy b. The hardware is slightly different in size, although when I measured the difference is actually less than 1mm in diff. I noticed it when inspecting the scratches on one of my clips.

I'm new here, although I have been lurking for a couple of years. I just sold my Speedy B 30 to fund the Speedy B 25. I found the 30 too big for me. Anyway, I purchased the 25 off of eBay and had it authenticated by Meme's Treasures, but I am still nervous about it's authenticity with this being my first time purchasing from someone and not the LV store. I was going to see if I could get it authenticated in the authenticate thread here, but it looks like they won't they authenticate bags that are already purchased. Is that correct? Specifically, what is throwing me off is the space in the date code between the letters and numbers. My other LV's don't look like that. Thoughts?

I look at the authentication thread a lot and had one authenticated there a few weeks ago. If you purchased the bag recently from eBay, you can still request an authentication. Go to the authentication thread and read the requirements (like which photos to post), along with the information required from your auction with link, and ask for an authentication. Another thing you can do to in the meantime (authentications can take at least several hours) is to look at other Speedy pics on the authentication thread.

I saw that you got a reply on the thread that you're missing required pics for authentication. I was glad that my seller was willing to work with me on taking extra photos for the authentication process. It can be a PIA. You might have to wait until you receive the Speedy to take the required photos and post them for authentication. If you decide to do that, you just need to reference your previous query, even if it was several days prior. I'm just curious, Meme's Treasures authenticate it with the photos listed in the auction?
