I have mono in the classic, if I got a B I would get ebene, the mono has too much vachette for me with the bandolieres down the sides.

I have both bags and speedy is definitely much lighter. I'm also looking to sell of my Retiro since I don't use it so often.

I prefer DE because it looks better with my wardrobe. The mono doesn't go that well due to the color of the vachetta. But I've had my Mono out in a the rain many times and there's been no spotting or damage. I treated it when it was new and it's fine, just wear in spring and fall when I have on clothes that better coordinate with it. I think we all wear different colors so one size doesn't fit all.
Just acquired a 20 year old mono 25. It's delicious. I was looking for an 80s one (from when I first wanted one) but this is in impeccable condition and I'm not going to quibble over a decade.
A year ago I had my leather zipper pull replaced. I use it at least 2 weeks in a row every month, even more when it's sunny

When I had a zipper done on my 30 year old Speedy they had to first confirm they had the part still in their archives. To do this they kept the bag. If they had the part they would replace the zipper for a fee and it would be six weeks. They did. It took four. [emoji4]. If the part was depleted it would have been returned to me untouched. Little advice...Ask them for an estimate range ahead of time.

I had to leave it at LV local boutique to be sent elsewhere, it took 6 weeks to come back. It was $30 and was returned with a new drawstring dustbag
