Hi! I was wondering if you could help me with a question. I bought my mono Speedy b 25 earlier this year. Due to circumstances and my fear of ruining the Vachetta I have only used it about 10-15 times. I store the strap unhooked inside the bag, which is in its dust bag in a closet.

Today I went to use the bag and noticed the straps appear to be different colors at the ends where the leather is folded over to hold the clasp in place. Is this normal? I have always used the strap with all three pieces so one hasn’t gotten more exposure than the others. Thanks so much!

I had trouble with justifying the purchase of an LV mono shoulder strap so have decided to experiment and see what would work for me budget and comfort wise. I need one for my Quetsche Epi Noe with silver hardware, trying to think of what would go nice with it since I can only think of a black strap at the moment. : D

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone with a Speedy B 25 in Monogram has had any issues with canvas. I have been wanting the Speedy B 25 for some time now to use as an everyday crossbody bag. I tried this bag on in monogram previously in Aruba and fell in love with it, but I was always certain I would get it in DE because of how carefree it is. My fiancé purchased the Speedy B 25 in monogram for me yesterday and I love it. However, because of the vachetta I am so torn on this being my everyday bag, but I have also seen/read horror stories about monogram canvas fading, rubbing off, or cracking. All of my damier prints look pristine to this day despite being in cold weather and snow, but I don't want to get another damier piece as I have hardly any monogram in my collection. Has anyone used this bag as an everyday bag and not had issues?

I have never noticed that with monogram. I certainly do not have any cracking, and I have a pochette from '03 that still looks pretty good for its age. I have more of a problem with DE with the corners turning dark on a 2-Year old Speedy. It's not terrible, but I have never had that happen with monogram. Each print can have its own issues with wear. Some have said that azur can yellow with age. I do not own DA, so I cannot confirm that.

I've had my Speedy B in empreinte for two years now. After a rocky start with my bag (had to get my ponthieu exchanged for my Speedy B due to a defect plus getting it repaired by LV soon after) I decided to give an update on how it's held up and some close ups of signs of wear.

Hi All!

Anyone purchase a new speedy bandouliere 25 in damier ebene lately?
I just purchased one today, and it was truly shocking. The canvas is a LOT thinner than previous models and the zipper is super wonky. The one that I had was made in France.

Previously, I owned the same bag but I sold it (stupid me, I know). That bag was made in the USA. The canvas was a whole lot thicker and gave the bag more structure. Does it matter where the bag is made, and therefore the difference in material?

I have a 30b that is really squishy too. The “improved” canvas is suppose to keep it from peeling. Mine was made in France as well. I have to use an organizer to give it some shape otherwise it looks like a saggy mess. My zipper is normal. You might want to exchange it if the zipper is a problem. Over $1k for a purse is a lot to spend and settle for something you are not happy with.

Hi there,
I have one from 2019 and I was a little surprised at the treated leather pieces and how they are matte as opposed to shiny. I had a speedy 30 in DE and sold it but the canvas feels the same to me in my opinion. I purchased the Speedy B 25 In slightly used condition and I got a good deal on it. I think I prefer the shiny leather instead of matte but because of the deal I got I’ll probably end up keeping her.
