I may have gotten a defective bag, my replacement has had zero issues whatsoever. I've noticed that the canvas on my replacement (new model) was softer and more pliable right from the beginning. If that makes sense. It's not as structured as my om. Hope this helps .

Just to let you all know, the mon mono speedy b 30 I just picked up does not have a zipper pocket 
It is definitely softer then the speedy b 25 in DE from spring and the speedy b 35 in mono I got in November 2014. By softer I don't mean thin, still seems like the same thickness and nice quality canvas. I absolutely love the speedy b 30 size the best out of the 3!

Thank you for the compliment ☺️ I was on the fence about the charm wondering if it was too much for the bag. I don't have the zippered pocket and mine was made the 36th week of 2015. I would think they were consistent with the zippered pocket on the later models. I don't care either way cause I use the samorga felt insert which I absolutely recommend. It gives the bag structure with a little bit of sag. I had a speedy b 30 two years ago and sold it due to its size on my petite frame and both bags have exceptional quality all around (no gaps, wrinkling etc) and they were made in the US..
I was in the LV store in London yesterday and I was carrying my Speedy b25 empreinte infini and my SA told me he just found out the day before that the empreinte speedy line is discontinued

I have loved this bag and this color for a while now and I shocked to walk into my store after I thought they were already no longer available and found one. So exciting. I LOVE it!
well..... i own the speedy b 30 and love it, but i also love disney and when i go to disney i don't carry any of my lvs for many reasons. first of all, i try to go with the smallest lightest weight bag i own, always a flat crossbody type. with all of the crowds, all of the potential splash events ( pirates, splash mountain, kali river rapids, etc) i would not risk an lv, especially one with vachetta. also, the speedy b sticks out a bit more than other crossbodies so for me it would get in the way. also, shoulder carry does not work for me in the parks, only crossbody or ,yes, hate to admit it fanny pack, or backpack. you might want to consider getting a disney dooney bourke crossbody while you are there. we went to disney multiple times last year but honestly ,i never take my lvs there. jmho.
I used my pochette Metis down in Disney and also my speedy b 35 in mono. I honestly had no problems. I do protect them with kiwi and LMB though. They got splashed a few times and rained on, but everything dried just fine
