My new speedy b 25. Just picked up today... I want to ask will the lock creates black marks or anything if it rubs against the vachetta leather? I want to put it where the straps are at, or near the handle, but I'm scared it will leave marks.Thank you. It might. On my speedy b the rings that you attach the strap on to leave a mark unless I wipe down the vachetta regularly. I would imagine the same goes for the lock.

YAY! Finally someone who agrees. :) I don't ever baby my handbags. It's not my first LV or anything I just haven't used my speedy b to theme parks... I have used my other LV bags before. I really won't be on a lot of rides, more like kiddie rides. lol I just want to use a bag that will work best for me and just one bag for the trip (well my daughter has a little backpack for her stuff). :) Thank you for helping me out.

:) happy to help! I am not bad to my bags, but I'm not going to buy bags and not use them or buy different brands for the few times an LV "might" get wet or something. I love the canvas and find it to be super durable and love that it can be wiped off. The LMB and kiwi seem to help a lot too! If it ever would get a stain or spot I would still use them so I'm not too worried.

I am 5'8" and when I tried the 25B on in the store it was a bit short for cross body, but I got it anyway and took the strap to my cobbler. He added a hole to both sides and now its the perfect length. So don't let the strap keep you from the bag, you can always add holes to it. I love my 25B. It's the best for cross body. I have the delightful mm that I wear cross body as well but its a much larger bag( I purchased a luggage strap for it).

The strap for the speedy b monos are about 1 inch shorter that the DE straps even though each piece is the same length in both leathers. What I can figure is that the DE holes are punched lower on the straps so the strap ends up a little longer. I have 3 speedy b DE's and 2 Speedy B monos and this bears out for all of them. I had my mono straps punched with one more hole on each piece and that generally resolved the problem. Every inch matters to me because I am 5'8". On my speedy b 25 I use the pochette extender, which helps also!

I tried both the 25 B and 30 B on last week in Paris. And they didn't fit at all. lol But I'm okay with that. It would only best suit me as a shoulder/hand bag and I think thats because my bust is so large, my shoulders are broad, I'm a size 16 and I'm 5'9". I also tried an alma bb and man...that thing is tiny, cute but too tiny for me. So, I ended up buying an Eva and ZCP which I'll post photos of tomorrow in the March goodies. Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge, tips and tricks!

This is very helpful! Am looking for a bag to fit my laptop if needed. This seems to be a candidate! :) do you feel the bag can manage the weight or do you feel it's bordering the capacity of the bag?

Yes, this bag holds the weight just fine, ofcourse it's my shoulder that suffers. Lol. I took this with me packed to top, including my laptop. I've had this bag for three years now and thankfully no signs of wear. I prefer this bag for travel over my nf because of the crossbody option. Hth![emoji4]

I think the lock will leave marks on vachetta leather. I put mine on the zipper for that reason and it works well!
