I took my speedy b to my favorite cobbler to see if he could hole punch another hole on each side of the strap. He did and it made a big difference. Much better fit for cross body on my 5'8" frame. Cost $1! :happydance::happydance:

I did that too for my speedy b 25 and 30 bags and used the strap on the turenne as well. It wasn't necessary on the speedy b 35 because of the sag in the bag. I'm 5'8" too. Interesting differences between the vachetta and de straps. The de was longer than the vachetta even though each of the 3 pieces was exactly the same length because LV punched the holes on the vachetta higher up on the straps.

With Speedy B 35 DE... It is a roomy and great bag, excellent for working... I was worried when bought it, because of the quality issues related here, but for now she is great.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I noticed when I carry my speedy b 35 DE using he strap,, the zipper part folds/ gets crooked in the middle too-- does that bother you at all?

Hows the wear and tear? Im worried it will eventually develop cracks due to the folds

I get that with my Speedy B 30 Bandouliere when I wear it over the shoulder or crossbody. I think it's inevitable since it's a soft canvas. It does sometimes irritate me since I have to straighten it before unzipping. I am not sure if it's going to be a problem with cracking in that area as I wear it more over the years. So far (I've had it for over 1 1/2 years) I don't have any issues. I try to hold it handheld when possible so that I don't get that issue so much.
