Hi, if it looks like damage on their part, then they may cover it. I haven't had these issues but I think others have posted. It doesn't hurt to go in and politely ask. Most here will say LV takes responsibility for parts up to 1 year. You could post pics of the damage and maybe someone had a similar situation they can share?

I was at the LV store in KofP today and purchased the Speedy B35 MIF. I've been eyeing this bag for a bit and wanted to get it prior to the price increase. I just read where there is a new updated one which is what I was told by the SA, but can someone direct me to the thread about the changes to the Speedy? Also has anyone had their updated speedy heat stamped. I wanted to get my initials but was told I had to wait until they found out if it could be done.

where is the MIF in speedy b at? I am trying to find it in my new mono 35 and don't see.

The MIF on the speedy b is on the side on the bottom of the leather strip. Only the MIF will say that. If it is made somewhere else it will only say Louis Vuitton Paris. You would then need to use the date code to find out where it is made.

Question, has anyone tried to do an exchange after the 30 day period?

I called cust. service and I think I was speaking to the call center, not the store directly, and she said it was at the discretion of the store to exchange beyond the 30 days.

I'm wondering since there hasn't been a price increase yet, I can exchange my SpeedyB for the NM version now that they have it in stock. (It wasn't in stock when I purchased mine in Sept.)

I was waiting for the new speedy for the Ebene and decided that the change wasn't that substantial to give up the MIF so I decided to keep her and yesterday I took her up to have it heat stamped. The old version is tried and true so there may be a benefit to that.

I mostly carry them on my arm but the times that I have worn it in my shoulder it was. This bag is great because of the different ways it can be worn.
