I've seen that one around too! To be quite honest I much prefer the original Margaux.
Does anybody have any experience on how the saddle leather handles (of the Margaux, or any other bag in that leather) wear over time? I know Hermes bags with repeated use, the handle leather can darken from the oils on our hands - does this happen with the Margaux too in, say, Cuir?
Do you feel the Medium N/S Tote is worth the hype? I had a more structured version from Aesther Ekme and had a super love/hate relationship with it. Maybe it was just that brand in particular, but it was huge and really heavy. Not to mention the leather started to tear after less than 6 months!
I would just use a suede protectant spray like Waterstop by Collonil. To me inserts ruin the shape of the bag and just add unnecessary weight.Just picked this beauty up yesterday from the NYC Row store - The Row medium Park N/S tote in the new Spring color Cinnamon in grained leather. It's pretty close the Caramel color they had a couple of years ago. The actual color is a bit lighter than the picture due to the dim and warm tone lights in the store. This bag color is not on the website, but it's in the store in NYC. They didn't have it on display, but if you ask for it, they will take it out. The leather is super lux and the lining is the luscious suede. No hard wear or zipper or slip pocket inside. It's just a simple tote with tie at the top. I wore a wool winter coat on purpose to try it on to see if it fits over the shoulders and yes it does. I am petite mom of two who rides the NYC subway and i normally put a scarf on the top of my stuff. This is the prefect everyday lux bag that doesn't scream designer, but looks incredible. Now i need to find a good insert to protect the beautiful suede lining
I bought the medium n/s tote for the lux leather quality and the simplicity. In my opinion, I do think it's worth the hype. It is a gorgeous piece and very light for an all leather bag and it's has no hardwares. I know it's not as popular as the Margaux bag, made famous by the celebrities, but it's also not as expensive. When I use it, it molds to my body. The small is too small for me, a mom of 2 kids. I can't speak for the wear and tear just yet, since i just got it. You should go into the store to try it on and feel the leather. This bag is more popular in Japan.
Tried this on at Holts yesterday and purchased today via Luisaviaroma. This is a beautiful handbag! Leather so supple! So chic! I don’t Think it is a tote meant to carry a laptop. The handles are soft and supple and a heavy laptop would really weigh it down.
Can someone please help me with authenticating this The Row Margaux 15??? Really need you help asap. Thank you kindly for any tips. No authenticators online wpuld do it.😞

Hmm I see, thanks for letting me know! My laptop isn’t that heavy (it is a MacBook Air) and I just want to be able to fit it and maybe a few A4 documents inside, I’m hoping it’ll hold up. I have it arriving on Thursday from Moda Operandi, hopefully it suits my purposes, I don’t want to have to send it back
Sorry I can’t help but I wanted to add that I bought a brand new bag from an authorised retailer and no one would authenticate it and believe me I tried everywhere. It is one of the reasons I won’t buy any more bags from this brand.
For the price they charge they could do something in the construction of it to help facilitate authenticity.
And The Row in London were particularly rude and unhelpful.
Thank you so much for replying! This bag has been on my radar for so long and I contemplated getting the JCrew Berkeley because it's so similar, but don't like how one side is suede. I've seen a few secondhand pieces on Ebay, but am contemplating what color to get. I already have great black, chocolate brown, tan and navy bags...would love either a gray or deep red color.
Be careful on eBay! There are so many good fakes out there, especially for the N/S as it's such a simple design
