Bags by The Row are very high quality You could ask a good cobbler for an evaluation of craft and materials. Other than getting a craftsperson evaluation I don’t think there is a way of authenticating. The Row changes up their leather hallmarks and have noticed they will tweak certain bag details from season to season. My repair gurus always comment on the quantity of The Row.

My India 15.75 arrived today and I have to say, it's a glorious bag. Fully leather lined, not at all heavy, leather so plush and irresistible... It also handles my 13" Macbook Air without issues, but I do recommend putting an insert inside to help maintain the base shape because once something heavy goes in, it distorts the bottom (I've just put my LV On-The-Go MM insert inside and it fits perfectly). Now I understand why people get addicted to buying The Row! I now have a Margaux 12 in the black pebbled leather and an India and they are just stunning. Maybe a 90s bag next...?
Has anyone contacted the brand for repairs? I have about 50 pieces from them mostly ready to wear and shoes etc. and some bags, but I am nervous for shelling out large amounts for a Margaux 17 especially if there is poor aftercare. For £5.7k might as well head elsewhere. Thanks

For anyone with the Margaux 15 in the smooth or grained leather, can you tell me how much it weighs? I just received my canvas+leather burgundy/brown Margaux 15 and it weighed in at 2.4lbs and was curious how it compared to the weight of the all leather versions. Net-a-porter says 4lbs but I don't think that's true.
Out of curiosity did you get the version with the canvas panels on the exterior? Or do you mean it’s canvas/fabric-lined?
I got the canvas paneled one! I love it, just getting used to the size and weight. All our (my wife's) other bags are smalle bags as we don't typically use larger bags, but thought we'd get this for travel and when we need something a bit bigger.

Oh I’ve really loved the look of that one! The only thing was I couldn’t tell if it’s more structured than the all-leather versions, since on websites the canvas looks a little more stiff than the leather. Does it still slouch nicely?

Yes, it's great. If you're looking for slouch, this version is probably not it. The structures of the stiffer canvas/cotton/linen does not give like their shiny leather version does.
I’m in search of the Margaux black in size 12. Does anyone know if this size is still for sale? I can’t find it anywhere and am wondering if it’s discontinued or just out of stock everywhere.
