Beautiful bag! Happy for you that you could exchange! :smile:It looks normal to me and mine does this, too. I guess it happens, because the interior fabric does not 100% match the outer canvas if you know what I mean. And the bag does not really have a lot of structure...

and I got a bandeau to go with it also!
I just noticed that the canvas is another color... its not as bright. More subtle..

it is so beautiful- do you plan to use it for work? Travel or everyday?
I haven‘t used mine yet due to the Virus situation but I wanted to travel with it and put a smaller bag in it for the destination because the Iéna is a little large for a normal handbag for me!

I don’t plan on making it as an everyday bag because I don’t carry a lot. I’ll use it as a diaper/baby bag as I have a toddler and needed something that will carry her essentials, plus something I can use for travel. I think the azur is so beautiful as well, but I know I’d panic if my toddler ever sticks her dirty hands on my DA purse. Lol I’m a little worried about the corner wear in the future, but I guess I just need to enjoy the bag no matter what.

Hey girls! After stalking Iena MM in DE for a while, I have been able to order it at the end of May, but the next day the called me and cancelled the order due to the bag being unavailable...

In another thread on this forum, I have seen several posts complaining about the corners' issues on Ienas (like canvas rubbing and peeling off on the corners) and not long-lasting corner quality. To decide, whether it is still worth stalking, I would like to ask you, whether you have experienced any corner issues? Thanks!

sorry for the late reply.
I also was concerned about the corners and read a ton of negative posts (also in the graceful thread since that bag has the folded corners as well). But I also saw a ton of youtube videos where people never had an issue (owning the bag for years!).:smile:
I haven‘t been able to really use it- due to the virus situation-since I only got it around easter. I just took it out today for a day trip to my parents ... but really wanted to use it for weekend get aways- which are not going to happen any time soon :hrmm:

I try to just use it and see what happens. If any problem arises during the first year, I will take it straight back to LV ...or sell it on... I just couldn‘t do without trying it out! It stayed in the back of my mind... I LOVE this bag and have been on the hunt for over a year! Any bag can have issues (just got my Neo Noe back from repair and will probably sell my Alma because the metal turned black after some months and a couple of uses and nothing can be done And LV won‘t do anything) so its a hit or miss!
I will keep you posted if anything happens:flowers:!

I will keep stalking and see whether they produce some more of Iena in DE. If it comes online, I will definitely order it!!

For everyone still searching to buy this bag new...

I visit the website (I'm in US) every now and then and am constantly clicking on the Notify Me option and am NEVER notified. I saw someone post on a LV Facebook group that the Iena MM was just available to Place in Cart earlier this morning. No email notification and of course it wasn't available when I checked the website again. I used the chat feature on the website and asked if there was a waitlist or something I could be placed on, and the chat person took my contact information and said that when more are made one will be reserved for me and I will be contacted. I guess we will see if that is true!

I have been wanting the Iena MM in DE for a couple years now. Been looking at pre-loved ones as well but for what they cost used I may as well buy it brand new so I can return/exchange if there are any difficulties.

Same here... got it in April and used it twice... :hrmm:
I always wanted it and it took a year to finally get my hands on it (hard to get in Europe) and I told myself I would just use it no matter what. Fully aware of the corners...
I didn‘t :sad:

but it is not very popular and I would lose half the money of the bag when selling. That is not really an option.

It is SO beautiful and this purple/burgundy interior color is really everything!!! I love that it is not the normal red. :heart:

What will you do?
