When you put your hand inside , how does the interior stitching feel ? I prev returned my rev PM coz the stitching was quite bad. From the looks of your pic, I’m just wondering if they didn’t do this properly

Hi all, I purchased a Pochette Metis in Tourterelle the other day because I loved the color and I think it looks much better in person than in pictures. Now I am second-guessing myself and wondering if I should exchange it for a different color.

I originally wanted it in Scarlet but the store didn’t have it and I don’t incorporate much red in my wardrobe anyway so I thought, ok that color probably doesn’t make sense for me. My wardrobe consists mostly of grey, white, light pink, navy, and olive (or khaki green?). I’m thinking of exchanging the Tourterelle for Rose Poudre.

Tourterelle seems to be a warmer tone — it looks taupe to me. I have another small grey bag and it is a cooler tone so maybe I should get a non-neutral color? Or should I wait and try for a mono one?

I would wait for the mono. It goes with every outfit.

I was so tempted by the red when I was at the store, then I thought about getting a neutral to get more use out of it, THEN in the end I went for monogram because canvas can withstand a bit of abuse (intend to use it casually) and monogram print goes with EVERYTHING. So yes, wait for monogram. You'd be content.

How about black? If you don’t like black then I’d go for the mono. With light colors there is always the risk of color transfer

Thank you all for your advice! Since I'm indecisive about a color for the empreinte (originally wanted scarlet, bought tourterelle, not a fan of noir, now I want the rose poudre), I think mono would be the best choice. I hope I can find one!

Ladies, need advice. I bought the PM but havent used it yet and getting close to the 30 day return window....i like it but am not sure i want to keep it....i am also considering the small loulou by YSL (havent bought it yet) any thoughts on pros and cons between the 2?

I have the Rose Poudre and I love it but don’t often use it because of the light color. I was also thinking about the scarlet or the cherry berry because I wanted a red bag, however I didn’t like this particular bag style in any of the reds available. I also have the Reverse and use that bag the most out of my whole collection. If you’re up in the air I would hold out for the Mono.

I know I said I’d wait for the mono, but I ended up exchanging the Tourterelle for the Rose Poudre. Pink is one of my favorite colors and I thought it would be nice to have a fun-colored bag for a change.

I tried the mono PM in store today as well and I liked it, I’m just not sure if I’m ready to deal with the vachetta because I’ve had very little experience with that. As for the reverse, I love it in pictures and on other people, but I don’t know that it would suit me as I don’t wear black often.

All that being said, I’m hoping a mono PM will become available because I want one. And then I’m done! :nuts:
