How soft is your small leather tab at the top of the hardware closing mechanism? Mine is not so soft but it can be bent downwards. But the leathers a bit stiff. ♀️
I love my Pochette Métis on mono, so in November I decided to start stalking the reverse online. I was lucky enough to get one in early December!
Upon arrival, I thought I had given it a detailed look over, but ras I was about to wear it for the first time I noticed some wonky glazing on the bottom of the bag. The glazing is sharp to the touch in this spot unlike my PM mono
I am still within my return period and would like to know your opinions: Keep? Or Return?

I’ve been chasing the Pochette Métis for 1.5 years now, but I didn’t formally go on any wait list until I was traveling out of state a couple of months ago and, on a whim, walked into an LV boutique and asked if they had one in stock. The SA said no but took my name and number and said she would call me if one came available. I didn’t expect to hear from her, but on Thursday evening she sent me a text message with the good news. It arrived today. On the one hand, I’m happy to have it, but on the other I’m not enamored with it. I had been hearing that the canvas on the new model is thicker and the monogram not as bright as in previous years. That appears to be spot-on. I like that the bag is more structured, but I don’t like how dull it looks. I’ve attached a photo comparing it to the canvas on my Neverfull. The difference is very noticeable, I think. I have a twilly on the handle to keep it from getting soiled from handling as I struggle with whether or not to return it. Feeling very indecisive about this bag.

I think it’s beautiful! I love the matte look of it actually, it’s a bit more subtle yet still sophisticated. But if it doesn’t make you excited, perhaps you could exchange for something that does? Life is too short to have bags that make us go “meh”.
I love the matte look as well and mine just shipped today! I hope mine looks like this!
Update on my PM glazing issue from 7 weeks ago...Repair deemed it defective and not able to repair so I got a call to come in pick out something else. Since I bought the Coach Cassie while I was waiting for this repair (and I actually like it better than the PM!) I decided to go with the South Bank Besace and also got a Monogram Shine Shawl with the leftover balance, all’s well that ends well! It was a good 11 month run with the PM, guess it wasn’t meant to be!
