After discussions about recalls on certain bags and issues with the PM I decided to take out all of my bags to check for any issues. I have the PM reverse, monogram and black empreinte that I just got. The first bag I checked was the reverse and immediately noticed glazing issues with the glazing completely coming up on one side. I rotate my bags often and haven't used the reverse since June and I didn't notice any issues then although I didn't purposely try to check. Luckily my Monogram PM was fine. I'm thinking that when I take it into LV they'll at least offer to repair for free. Has anyone had similar issues with their PM and offered an exchange? I'm trying to decide whether I want to keep this bag or not. Are there any bags similar to the PM in reverse?

mine has the same date code and I took pics comparing it w my mono from June. I am just worried about glazing issues but haven’t seen any on my mono. The reverse I haven’t used yet but I check the bag regularly lol.

One theory I have is some people buy because is popular and don’t really like the bag so everything is an issue. Or they are trying to stop people to buy the bag so they can buy it. Lol.

And I look at my bags closely for issues but I want to make my reverse work since I love it. So the “dullness” if any, wouldn’t affect me keeping the bag. I love my PM Mono and wanted mono but a snow/rain version of it.

Sometimes there are limited edition ones, ones that are exclusively offered in through charity draws, staff gifts or custom pieces which are a tad bit different from the regular ones. There is no way this would be a fake bag; especially when it is being uploaded by Fashionphile, something this obvious would not pass by them. There is a clear explanation as to why that particular reverse pm bag has a vachetta tab as opposed to black.

Yes perhaps that is true as well, but my point is Fashionphile are most likely very aware that the vachetta tab is there, so there must be a good explanation as to why.

Although, I was expecting the reverse monogram canvas to be brighter than it is. I’ve only ever seen it in pictures so I have nothing to compare it to. Are there different versions of the color or does it just look brighter in pictures?

Get the reverse!!! Reverse is harder to get than the monogram.

I can understand the canvas PM being discontinued given the issues. I would be sad to see a lot of the canvas go away. Last year, I purchased a mono Artsy because I was afraid when the rumors started of limiting canvas bags. Hopefully speedies and NF's will make cut.

Hi do you know if this is still the case? My local LV store stated that there is ‘logo mania’ and monogram goods are so in demand. Also the SA said that they still receive new stock of the monogram PMs a few a month and they apparently sell out in minutes. The empreiente PMs stock seem to be continuously replenished and I see them in store.
