I will chime in. I don’t have tons of bags but for example my PM mono is made in USA, while the side stitching of the little leather that holds the hook for the strap looks like a new employee made it, lol, it doesn’t affect the bag or it’s sturdiness. I love the rest of the bag.
Recently I found a PM in store made in Italy. Strap smelled awful it was sent to replace. The rest of the bag smelled a bit but comparing w all my other bags I never smelled that before. It looked like someone used it and they cleaned it? Ewww back it went.
My recent PM reverse is made in USA. I’m scared because of all the dullness/cracking issues it so far it looks good.
I do have two neverfulls made in USA both good but the pochette of the ebene was sent to reglaze. Also a boite chapeau souple made in France which looks perfect. Onthego made in France looks perfect. (It was exchanged from a made in USA that had an issue inside, the red lining was pinched)
Delightful mm and other bags made in USA good as well no issues so far.
zippy coin purse vivienne balloon Christmas... made in France and has one of the sides wavy! I’m waiting to see if they receive another to exchange it. But for now is in the box without being used
Oh ok...based on your experience there doesnt seem to be a difference, hit or miss more or less.
By the way, your pm reverse looks great! I wouldnt worry too much about the cracking issues; if you have an issue LV has to stand by their product
I think I am taking a break from stalking the Reverse. After three failed attempt and then seeing all the dullness Of the canvas makes me think twice. LV needs to step their game up. I understand the bag is in high demand but that doesn’t mean rush to make it and make defective bags.
