Great!!! So glad you finally got a bag, you are happy with, besides it is your money being spent! Good for you! As for MIF being better quality, I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with the "MIF is better" mentality. Honestly, I don't think MIF is better quality than MIU, or any other location. I had an Emilie wallet, that was MIF, and the thing was literally falling apart with minimal use. I think LV (in general) is using cheaper materials and/or cheap labor, or something, which has absolutely nothing to do with the geographical location stamped on their bags, slgs, etc. I am seeing tarnished hardware on supposedly new bags and bags that are less than a year old, glazing issues, etc., and those issues are not exclusive to MIU products.

Thank you so much, I am really happy with my bag now! I am not saying that I know everything, for sure not! It is my experience, experience of my friends and surprisingly at was told that more than once at the boutique from SA that MIF are better quality! Really! So...something has to be true about that. Anyway.. I of course do not want to argue with anyone. I am actually very sad about your "testimonies" regarding the quality of MIF products. So, the opinion that MIU products are lower quality is not accurate, but unfortunately we have to admit that the quality of LV products goes down in general, regardless of the location of the manufacturer. And that is even more depressing.

You're so welcome! I am happy for you. Enjoy your new Reverse PM!

I have to agree. Well said by the way.

I have to tell you, that when my bag arrived, I was a little upset that it wasn't MIF or Italy. And my husband looked at me as though I was out of my mind. He literally asked me if I would be happier with a bag MIF that had a flaw or one that I had (MIU), which is absolutely flawless.

Let's just say that I've kept my mouth shut ever since and I love my MIU LV PM more than I can say

Who is going to know where my LV bag is made?

I just have a dilemma as to which Bandeau scarf I'd like to accessorize with! Gucci Garden? Or LV Leopard?!

Thank you!
This made me laugh out loud. lol Love this! Also, thanks, for your honesty; sounds like you have an awesome DH.

It's understandable to have preferences, but at the end of the day...I just want a beautiful bag in the best possible condition. I use to be particular, and preferred MIF too, now not so much, as I am finding it's not about the location. And, you're right, no one will ever know, where the bag is made, unless you tell them. lol

I haven't seen the Gucci Garden, will have to check it out. I have seen the Leopard bandeau though, and it is gorgeous, and compliments the Mono PM really well. But, I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with either. Enjoy your beauty!

This is not the issue. I love my MIU PM Reverse, I do not care whether it is MIF or MIU, I care about the quality. So, it is not about the "label MIF" or "MIU", it is about the quality MIF or MIU. But we came to a conclusion that no matter where the bag was made, the quality goes down anyway. I was previously told by more than one SA that MIF bags or products in general are known for higher quality, but based on testimonies from many of you it is obviously not that case.

On the other hand I had to order 3 bags, week after week to find the best one from all, that is not a standard, right? IMHO.

The reverse is available on us site NOW!

It is! So is the black empriente! Get it kiddos!!!

It's on there now for US

Got one!!!

Me too! (3rd one! ...never-ending story...) And it is still available! Unbelievable! They are probably up to the speed with the production. Got hope everyone will get one! Go ahead! (This is like a race!) Haha!

Please notice the difference in quality (matching of the patern) Mono comes from Paris, France, Reverse from US. This is the second Reverse I got, third is on the way... I am getting tired...

The last really great LV bags I bought were The Manhattan GM and Tulum GM and those were about 10 or 11 years ago. The quality back then was great imo.

But since then every single bag I have bought from LV in the last 7 years was MIF and had serious issues to the point of being given new bags or credits. I ended up rehoming a couple as well... so I took a break from LV for a couple of years and dipped my toe into Hermes.

That said, this particular style is the first to have enticed me enough to consider LV again. Mine is MIU from 2016 and so far it's flawless.
